Hello, I'm TheCMC and I'm looking to start a game of Legacy: Life Beyond the Ruins a post-apocalyptic RPG using the Powered by the Apocalypse system. Unlike standard Apoc World, which is very much Mad Maxian in design.  Legacy tends more towards Science Fiction and is about rebuilding after the apocalypse as opposed to just surviving, in which over the course of the game years of generations may past and you as the players can make significant changes to the world with your characters and your family's  Here is the pitch I posted in the LFG  --------------------------------------------------- Into this world step the survivors, bound together by blood or ideology or desperation into something new. You play through their stories; as they explore new realms, suffer dark times and celebrate great victories, you craft a new world together. Legacy: Life Beyond the Ruins is a Powered by the Apocalypse World game taking place in a post-apocalypse world collaboratively built by the GM and players. You play both a character, and (more importantly) a family / clan / group  with a common goal, and over the course of the game your characters  will change as time moves forward but your family remains constant. Over the course of the Ages, years, decades or generations can pass, the world can change and you can start heavily impacting the world. It's a game that is slightly competetive but there are systems in place in order have times where you're working together and competing One of the gimmicks is the fact that you won't be playing your primary character all the time but will be making PCs apart of other characters families (and vice versa) so over the course of session you could be moving back and forth between 1-2 characters depending on what's going on  Over a longer campaign you can even have large scale effects by erecting wonders in the post apocalypse (thing world wonders if your familiar with the Civ series)  that give you a signifigant amount of narrative control for a time.  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am looking for a group to play Monday Evenings around 7pm Central US time. (8pm EST, 5pm PST, 1am GMT) I'm looking for 2-3 additional players  If you are interested please apply  Here
