General Discussions and Shenanigans Thread #03:

Looks like the Play Test module is for levels 1-3 as the pre-gens are all level 2. I put up the Player Characters folder with 7 blank character sheets for you all to fill in. Here is the Link for the Play Test Module again: https://app.roll20.net/join/6736698/cWjD6g Right now it looks more like we won't start it until the 18th but we shall see. As it is like setting up an adventure module from scratch with no roll20 content at all. It opens with long read aloud text, which has been proven to cause players to drift off. Besides, no one would remember all the details. That said of course it would be a handout at the table top or on roll20. The text is hard to read due to be a bit low rezzy and in some fancy old english font.

Looks like i'll be getting "Curse of Strahd" as it has a scaled down Tarot card deck "Tarroka" that the Ravenloft setting uses and don't want to double buy it, by getting the deck separately. A regular Tarot deck has 78 cards, the Tarroka only has 52.

Ok, the PDF for "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf", has the text locked so one can not copy / paste the text, like normal. So that means the DM has to type it all out into the handout sheets or character/npc sheets. Also, I may make maps, using Dungeonographer, for buildings in the town of Kellee or simply use a generic room map for all of the locations. Right now that is about all i can do until the creator changes the PDF so we can copy / paste the text and sends it out to us. He didn't say anything about that yet. So I'll bring it up again in the afternoon.
Sounds good to me

Nice but man I have other plans for my money
Here is the link for the "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf" Play Test: https://app.roll20.net/join/6736698/cWjD6g So far only Roxxifarius has joined the play-test and I need you all to get characters made BEFORE we have a play-test session! I don't think we will start it tomorrow as, I need the creator to send out a text unlocked PDF, (he's busy at work and will get to it), and I found out I need to buy the new version of Dungeonographer and Cityographer that now integrates with the Worldographer program as when I had to reset my system due to audio and mouse issues, I deleted all my programs off for a full reset. I would then use the town of Kellee map as a trace for the indoor building encounters in the town. Which will be a bit difficult as it's drawn in doodle fashion and still looks off in spite of some of the maps having grids to line up to.
