A Meaningful Game All monies received from this game will go to support schools in Nepal and Uganda Forge Your Fate in Wildemount! A war brews on a continent that has withstood more than its fair share of conflict. The Dwendalian Empire and the Kryn Dynasty are carving up the lands around them, and only the greatest heroes would dare stand between them. Somewhere in the far corners of this war-torn landscape are secrets that could end this conflict and usher in a new age of peace—or burn the world to a cinder. Click here to join the game . Come along for adventure on the continent of Wildemount made famous and created by Matt Mercer, Dungeon Master of the hugely popular Critical Role show. This campaign will start with the preset adventures in the book before moving onto adventures with your characters as the stars as chaos erupts around you. Maybe your characters want to explore the Menagerie Coast? Maybe they want to head over into Xhorhas? The plot - the overarching story - is created by me, but the story is created by you and your erstwhile companions. Roleplaying will be encouraged. We’ll be using the Heroic Chronicle to make deep and rich backstories for your characters that will gradually be revealed in the campaign. We’ll start with a story arc that’ll take you from level 1 to 5. Then we’ll take a step back, see how things are going, and then move forward. So what are you waiting for? Come join me on an adventure that will shake Exandria to the core!   So why should you play with Meaningful Gaming? A meaningful experience that helps the less fortunate in our world A respectful and inclusive experience.  LGBTQ friendly.    A personalized experience.  While we ware playing through an official DND module, there still will be plenty of time for character-specific quests to fully explore your backstory Roleplaying is encouraged! Full access to all the official material to create your character.  The Players Handbook, Xanathats, etc are all included All Roll20 Pro features such as dynamic lighting, API scripts, spell effects and son on So why should you Pay to Play? Good question!  The money you pay for the game goes to support two schools that my wife and I built in Uganda and Nepal .  The money goes for teacher wages, school lunches, school supplies and so on. A lot of preparation work goes into each session to ensure the best possible experience for all players.  I go to great lengths to prepare and adjust modules, creating custom content, extending the pre-built campaigns, answering questions out-of-game, helping players with their characters, and countless other tasks to ensure we all have as much fun as possible. A reliable and punctual DM who is proficient in Roll20 who loves what he does and will see the campaign through from start to finish. Background quests specific quests.  If you supply an interesting backstory to your character, I will work into the overall campaign arc. Your character and class choices can draw on all the official sources like the Player’s Guide, Xanathars, Mordenkainen's etc All Roll 20 Pro features enabled such as dynamic lighting, API scripts and so on. Hi, Malcolm! First of all, I love your detailed layout and I have nothing but immense respect for what you and your wife are doing with these support schools.. It just made my day knowing you'll not only make your future players happy but all those children as well. Needless to say I am very interested since Critical Role and Matthew Mercer's world of Exandria is what directly exposed me to D&D in the first place which made me start my own D&D game in real life but as the DM of completely new players so I wanna scratch that player itch! Now, I'm not sure if you want me to write an application, interview me or just message me. So I will leave that up to you! Hoping to hear from you.
Hello Malcolm, I'd be very interested in joining the campaign. I've read through the attached google documents and I super appreciate how detailed everything is! I am also from Canada - I am in the MST timezone. The only thing I'm not 100% clear on would be what system we would be using for voice chat. I am assuming the Roll20 voice chat function? A little about myself - I've been playing for a long time, but I am newer to 5e. I've played a few 5e games and have been the DM for a few sessions of 5e and I've been really liking it so far. I've also been watching through the 2nd campaign of Critical Role (never watched the first, though). Feel free to message me on Roll20 here if you have any questions for me! Thanks & hope to hear from you!

Hey Marty, We'll be using discord for the voice chat. I'll send you a private message with the links for the game and the discord server (where we coordinate the game).  That way you can say hi to the other players Once you accept the game invite, I'll create you a character sheet so you can get started on your character.  If you want to create some Wildemount specific class (like dunamancy) then you'll have to wait until March 17th to create you character as that is when the book is released.  I have prepurchased the book. I am planning to do a one-on-one time with each player to go over each players character so we can go over background story, plot hooks etc so I can craft their character into the overarching story.  Then probably an hour or so zero session to go over house rules, roll 20 mechanics etc.  Then staight after the zero session, we will launch into the game itself Malcolm
