Hello folks, goats here again with another campaign. This time I'm looking for some epic DCC games. Game: Dungeon Crawl Classics. Time: Wednesdays at 5 PM CST. Using Roll20 and discord. Starting at level 0 and having a funnel next wednesday. Story so far: The Nerakan Empire has long sought to expand beyond it's borders. Stymied by hostile mage cults on it's eastern front and endless wastes on it's north and southern borders, it wasn't very feasible. Enter the city state of Kar Kathan. Found across the ocean with dozens of intelligent races nearby, the empire had found a perfect stooge for an expansion play. The fact that the city was sodden with demon worshippers just helped the Emperors case to the senate. Within weeks the armies of the empire had began to march to the Western port en masse. That wasn't enough though. Soon recruiters began to appear in nearly every village in the outlying states. Basically bullyboys with clubs and lots of them, anyone they found to be nonessential to the Empire was rounded up into massive wagons, given clubs and the basics of how to use them, and carted off to the port cities of Bellum and Antecupra to board a massive landing fleet bound for the new city state. Suddenly a massive storm whipped up and the fleet was set upon by flying demons in the dark night. The wards that were protecting the ships failed completely to work and the fleet was smashed asunder. The party is a group of twenty survivors who have washed up somewhere on this new land. The petrified remnants of a high priest who can somehow still communicate the only thing you have for direction. Will you listen to this disembodied priest, or find your own way in this deadly land of blood and fear? This will be a beer and pretzels style sandbox game with a sword and sorcery theme.
