About Monster Manual stat bubbles and other stuff.

So I've just bought the Monster Manual, and I am pretty disappointed. Firstly why stat bubbles are made so unintuitively? First is empty, blue is health, and AC is green? I think it's pretty it's pretty obvious that Health should be red (You know, a blood color?), AC should be blue (cold steel), and then maybe green should be empty? So my question: Is there a place, where I can switch those bubbles globally for all Monster Manual because If I have to this manually, then really buying the book wasn't worth that much.  But wait there's more: I was hoping that by "clickable actions" I'll get macros, which I'll won't need to set myself manually each time I'll want to use a new monster conveniently. Guess I was wrong, and I'll have to set up macros, for actual clickable buttons that do not obscure my battlefield (like a character sheet does) when I'm playing. So my second question is: Is there a way to make a global set of macros for all monsters at once? Sort of a template?  Thank You

1. Default stat bubble assignment can be set in the Settings Page of your game, the bottom section, since they are dependent on the attribute names used by your sheet of choice. 2. Clickable actions are indeed those on the character sheets. There are numerous was to create shortcuts for these, but the easiest ones are done using the API. It can be done with a manual macro, if you aren't averse to a little extra (useless) text in a roll template. Let us know if you need more info on this, and what sort of interface you would prefer to use. That being said, open character sheets can be quickly minimized and maximized by double-clicking the header. Many GMs leave the sheets for the current encounter open and minimized.  Cody from Taking20 on Youtube has a decent method for handling token action setup without the API in his setting up a monster manual video. You should be able to find with a quick google search.
First of all, thank you for a very robust answer. Indeed I was able to solve at least one of my problems. The one with the bubbles and that's cool :D  I cannot use the API as I am not a subscriber, so there goes simplicity I guess.  I know the trick with minimizing windows, and I think will need to learn to use it.  I know Cody from Taking 20 and his macros, and I was hoping that maybe something exactly like this will be applied when I'll buy Monster Manual. So it's a little bit of a shame, that that's not the case.  I do not understand what you are writing about here: "It can be done with a manual macro, if you aren't averse to a little extra (useless) text in a roll template. Let us know if you need more info on this, and what sort of interface you would prefer to use". So yes please give me more info - maybe I'll find it useful :D  Thanks!

Actions are labeled sequentially on the character sheet. For instance, the macro for the first action on an NPC character sheet is repeating_npcaction_$0_npc_action. The second uses $1 and so on. So you could create something like: &{template:npcaction} {{rname=NPC Actions}} {{description=[@{selected|repeating_npcaction_$0_name}](~selected|repeating_npcaction_$0_npc_action) [@{selected|repeating_npcaction_$1_name}](~selected|repeating_npcaction_$1_npc_action) [@{selected|repeating_npcaction_$2_name}](~selected|repeating_npcaction_$2_npc_action) [@{selected|repeating_npcaction_$3_name}](~selected|repeating_npcaction_$3_npc_action)}} &{noerror} That would give you the first four actions on a sheet as a  Chat Menu . This is what you would get for a goblin: The first two buttons run the macros. As you can see, since a goblin only has two actions, the last two give garbage errors. It doesn't hurt anything, but it's not pretty. Save it in your Collections tab as a macro and click "Show as Token Action". It will work for any selected NPC token.
Ahh, now I understand! It would be awesome if the script could make sure let's say $2_npc_action exists in the first place, then it could shut off, and not send any garbage to chat. Well, anyways thanks for this I think I'll be able to use this anyway. Most monsters have at least, one or two attacks/attack like abilities so if I'll limit this to 2 globally and then manually fill out the rest, then I'll still be able to cut off some work per monster. If I understand it right. I'll make some tests later :D  Thank You!

Yeah, macros have no conditional logic. The best you can do is add that  &{noerror}  at the end, It suppresses an error warning.
Always remember that you can alt + double click on a token to open it’s associated character sheet.  While token actions are much better and being pro and thus able to use API, all of your monsters could be set up with token actions in a few clicks of the mouse.
Thanks to you I think I'll set something up, real nice :D
