Is there a way for the DM to roll the dice for the players with a specific result pre-determined? I mean, the players think that is a legit roll but the DM already know the results in secret. Is this possible? to determine the results previosly without using the screen?

Not with believable dice mechanics, this is a conscious choice by Roll20 to prevent abuse and reduced confidence in the dice roller. You can just post a 'roll': [[20]] Ohh, a crit! But otherwise you might be better with a: /me rolls behind the screen And then just plain lie to them.
