A Secret in the Water - A Dark Ages Mythic Britain Mystery

A Secret in the Water A Dark Ages Mythic Britain mystery, running for 2-3 sessions. Time: 7th April 6pm UTC (likely would suit most near the GMT time zone) The fenlands of eastern Britain, where Celtic and Saxon tribes clash, and where old enmities between Britons do not always mean a united front against a common enemy. A Dark Ages Mythic Britain supernatural mystery in the fenlands of the Great Mire. The Christians call this time the 6th Century, but you venerate the Eight Mothers who flow into the sea and carry your family's animal totem - you are one of the tribe Corieltauvi, summoned to your lord, Coel One-Leg of Caer Daun, as an honour guard for his grand daughter Albia an Airell. The flavour of this game is something like the atmosphere of the television series "Vikings" or the novels by Bernard Cornwell, or the computer games "Dragon Age Origins" or "The Witcher" series, but with lower magic and lower technology, being Iron Age Britain - about 300 years before "The Last Kingdom" TV series is set. Player characters will most likely belong to the Corieltauvi who have a totem animal from the Great Mire fenlands, which may be Bittern, Grebe, Heron, Otter, Water Vole, Beaver, Eel, Crab, or Frog. Most PCs have a split profession of warrior and one other profession. PCs will be created from the local Corieltauvi tribe, with a mix of a warrior background with another profession - Beast Handler, Courtesan, Crafter, Farmer, Fisher, Herder, Hunter, Merchant, Miner, Sailor or Thief. Druids and Bards get a more focused career during character creation. Bards have special status as messengers and storytellers and may have a diplomatic role. Druids can befriend the spirits of Annwn who can provide powers and cast spells. Druids are the only career which has magical abilities. The game system is Mythras, from the Design Mechanism. Mythras is the new name for RuneQuest 6, a d100 system similar to Call of Cthulhu. Space for one more.
Two people have just dropped - so there's space for two people who are interested. This game runs tomorrow Tuesday 7th April at 6pm UTC. Not a campaign, the adventure will likely run for 2 or 3 sessions. Currently in the group, 3 characters: Llyr "Muck Charm" a druid of the marsh, the Irish bard Niamh, and the former slave and thief Rhoysn.
Hello! My name is Erik and I'm from Sweden. I am a long time collector of everything Chaosium stuff, and have recently tried Roll20 (unfortunately D&D 5), but am hoping to be able to run my own BRP Classic Fantasy adventure here on Roll20. My question is: what kind of character sheet do you use for this game? Kindest regards, Erik B.
Hi Erik, I use the Mythras sheet, it's very detailed for the system and the various supplement campaign settings. I would recommend you use it with the Firefox browser as it seems more responsive there. If you're using Classic Fantasy, I would recommend the new version written by the same author (Rodney Leary) it's an expanded and improved version of the first BRP version. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/180255/Classic-Fantasy--TDM500 Mythras is the renamed RuneQuest 6 rules so it's very close to BRP.
