This ad turned out pretty short, relatively speaking. That's because really all the stuff you need is in the listing. Check out the link at the bottom of this post. Starting a new campaign this April, so you can get in on the ground floor so to speak :-) This is an open world fantasy game with 'realistic' consequences.
Elevator-pitch: Imagine living your everyday life and suddenly a firepillar comes down, you -think- you're dead but then you wake up in a full-blown fantasy world with a minotaur telling you that you have been chosen by god...
Interested? :)
Players: We are looking for 2-3 additional players (so we will have 4-5 overall for campaign start, me not included) who are active, reliable and 18+. Newcomers to the hobby are welcome as long as they take the group, me as the GM & the game itself seriously.
GM-Style: I definitely tend to go to the gritty side of things with magical/wonderful scenes sprinkled in for good measure. I love it when characters are in over their heads and have to use their wits, teamwork and communication in order to figure things out (and, hopefully, survive). Given this, I like consequences - I can not stress this enough, city guards in my worlds are not all bumbling fools who are asleep all the time, people will report it if things get stolen, murders are investigated, that kind of thing. Please make sure you are fine with your character or npcs suffering (or succeeding) due to their choices (or the choices of others) in-game.
That said, I also love questions and working together to solve a problem (f.e. if one character feels too strong or overbearing compared to the others). I demand some level of interactivity from my players and their characters (no lone wolfs), they should have their own goals but whelp, they need the rest of the party to help them so how can they achieve that? :)
