This is a D&D 5e Campaign and I want to create a Lizardfolk Wizard 3rd level NPC . I'm struggling to determine which is the best way to go about doing this so I'm looking for some advice. I use the compendium to find the Lizardfolk reference so do I use this to create the character token and then use the Charactermancer Tool or NPC Tool? If I also want to create lizardfolk that is weaker than what is in the Monster Manual is this something similar? It really comes down to understanding what is the most efficient way to create an NPC based off of character types found in books like Monster Manual and create something all on my own for the game I'm designing. So in summary, if I want to create a Named Lizardfolk NPC who is a 3rd level wizard what is the most efficient way going about creating the character from design to dropping its token on the page. Keep in mind I'm not looking for you to give me all the steps, I need to learn, but I'm looking for experienced users of the tool and how an NPC is created.
