Walchrid, I am too. It might have something to do with it but it might not. Many others here are using much more recent OS's and having the same issue. I am frustrated that this has been an issue for over two days now. Beta testing should have been more extensive for this. I do appreciate that the issue is being looked into, but crossing my fingers for a quick resolution. I have a game to run in 6 hours and as it stands I'll have to do it from my cell phone.
Justin, I think that is just à minor problem, it was not happening last week, plus the team is doing great, don't worry. I'm sure they'll find out
Serei said: still stuck on loading screen, cleared out cache, and still no luck. Hey Serei - What browser and version are you running?
Hey Walchrid & Justin R. - Hmmmm, what browser versions are you running as well? You should be able to find that information here . Unfortunately, it seems like there might be an issue going on here with browser version compatibility.
I'm running the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox that are compatible with Windows XP. For Chrome that's 49 and for Firefox 52.9. While I admit it could be the issue because both of our tech is dated, I'm not sure that would explain the sudden influx of users with the exact same problem.
Is this also causing image uploads to not work? I have been trying for over 2 hours to get images loaded into my campaign and they just site their and never complete.

Hey there - What browser and browser version are you using? Also, what is the image type (jpg, png, etc) and size for the images you are trying to upload?

It's 49.0.2623.112
Any update on this issue? For those who have reported the problem 1 or 2 days ago, have you resolved the problem? For me, same problem as I try to launch a game right now. Thanks.

I think us XP users are sadly getting outpaced by the technology. An upgrade to a newer OS or device is probably needed. It's unfortunate because this is really the only thing I use this computer for other than word processing.
Hey all - In order to utilize the latest technology and provide the best overall experience for our users, Roll20 develops for the latest versions of both Firefox and Chrome. As such, older browser versions or unsupported browsers (Edge, Opera, etc.), may prevent you from fully experiencing Roll20's features and functions. Here are links to download the most updated versions of both Chrome and Firefox . If you are using the most updated versions of either and are still running into issues, please let us know. Thanks!
I did a bit of troubleshooting on this issue with a Windows XP VM running the newest available version of Chrome (Version 49.0.2623.112) side by side with a Windows 10 system running the newest stable Chrome version ( Version 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit) ). I attempted to access the same game on both. The following screenshots are the results of that test with XP on the left and 10 on the right. The big uncaught syntax error jumped out at me so I included extra details about it. Regardless, for anyone having this issue on newer operating systems (Win 7, 8, 10) please ensure that you are using the newest available version of your browser. The presence of a syntax error on older systems but not newer ones is strongly indicating to me that this is a matter of being out of support, though I am no expert. If the Roll20 Team is looking to maintain XP support then hopefully this information will prove useful in correcting the issue. As a side note: cheeky nat 20 from our GM during the last session.

Unfortunately, those two browsers are the only browsers that Roll20 officially supports. Roll20 cannot make things work for all browsers, especially ones that are many years old.

Okay guys!Itried to run it with Ubuntu instead of windowsXP...and it worked! yaaaaaaaayyyy! Edit: Ubuntu is damn slowvon my computer, so if you can fix it for XP, that would be great!
I figured out how to make Edge work. Microsoft released an update for Edge that makes it run on the same open source technology as Google. If you download the update, Edge will work again. You're welcome Tech Support.

Hey all - We've made a fix for infinite loading in older browsers. Please be advised that all features may not function in these unsupported browsers, but in our testing loading should now resolve.
I am running the most up to date version of Firefox not an old browser and still experiencing this issue.

Still not working, I'm afraid. Cleared all browser data, ran Firefox without extensions. Good morning everyone! The first thing I did this morning is to launch my game and it only took a few seconds and everything was up as if nothing happened. I think the guys at Roll20 finally fixed everything. If I am good, I believe everyone should be good too. I am using Chromium, a open-source version of Chrome, running on a Raspberry Pi computer. I did not do any updates to the system nor to the browser, because everything was updated prior to the problem. If there was something I did last night before I went to bed, it was probably clearing my browser cache, but I also included browsing history, download history, and cookies. But most likely, it was Roll20 team who fixed the problem. Thank you!

UPDATE: I started using Firefox and my issues stopped. During the time that I was stuck I was using the newest version of Edge. Hope everyone can resolve their difficulties and get to enjoying their favorite RPGs. Message me if you want help as a DM or are looking for advice or just to compare set-up, thanks. -m
I am having connectivity issues with my Firefox browser. No add-ons and cache already cleared. It is just impossible to use the software for more than a couple of minutes, I keep receving the message "your connection to the server has been interrupted". Any ideas? Thanks, Giorgio
I have also tried to connect to the Internet directy with an Ethernet cable, it still doesn't work. I have also tried on multiple PCs (including two different laptops). I do use Windows 10 on all PCs. Is there an issue with the Roll20 servers in the UK (I live in the South West)? Thanks
