Currently, there either is no good way (at least not that is obvious to me) to give Roll20 the relevant information about my map to draw the proper-sized grid on it. I know that there's the tool that lets me select a 3x3 area, but if my selection is a few pixels off (which happens most of the time for me), I still need to make micro-adjustments to the pixel value until I get it right. My alternative is to say "I know this map is 3600px wide and that there are 18 squares across, so let me do the math, and I can plug that number in." This seems silly! Roll20 can do that math so much quicker than me. Some suggested improvements: Rather than telling me to select a 3x3 area, let me select an area and tell Roll20 how many squares across it is. This is much less prone to error than the 3x3 selection where a few pixels difference can compound over a very large map. In the map settings, when I set the size of the canvas, I should also be able to say there how many squares across the map is. Divide the canvas by that amount, and you immediately know my grid size. Thanks for listening!
