[LFP] [D&D 5E] [Free] [18+] Looking for players for a One Shot leading into a Homebrew Campaign

Hi, I'm a slightly experienced DM, who is getting back into playing 5E after a few years hiatus. We have a group of about 3 sure players, with more possible. Our group is a mix of both experienced players, and complete beginners, so all skill levels are welcome. Everyone is also starting new Level 1 characters for this new story.      We don't have a set schedule, but we use Discord to talk and decide when we can all play. With this quarantine going on, everyone has a little more time and we'd like to get back into it, and also meet some new likeminded people for future games.  If interested, reply here with a little about yourself and I'll give you my Discord so we can talk and schedule. Our Group We're all EST, around age 23, and mostly active at night, though that is more flexible right now. We all use discord to Voice chat during our games.  The Campaign We plan on playing a One Shot or two, that will ultimately lead into the beginning of the homebrew campaign I'm writing. Without spoiling too much, the homebrew campaign is going to be a bit of a Lovecraftian Horror-Mystery, partially inspired by The Shadow Over Innsmouth. I'm still in the process of writing later chapters, but I have enough down for a few sessions. The Plan Preferably, we'd like to find a few more people to join our group for long term, or just people to play this campaign with. We plan on playing the first session within the week. (Perhaps this upcoming weekend) I also like to write and/or run holiday themed one-shots around Halloween and Christmas, but usually we are lacking in players.

Hello, I'd definitely be interested in playing! I'm PST but my schedule is super flexible thanks to quarantine, so I can make most times. I've only been playing 5e for about a year, but I've played in three campaigns (with one of them seeing completion) and the odd one-shot here and there. I've also played other systems, like Chronicles of Darkness. So I'm not exactly a beginner, but not a veteran either. Still, would love to play in your one-shot or even be a player longterm.

I am still working during all of this quarantine stuff so my time is really limited to sundays, but I can play pretty much all day sunday, 9:30am-8:00pm EST (although I am PST), but if that ends up working for anyone i'd love to play! Hello! This sounds wicked interesting (especially with the Lovecraft!), and with what has be occurring essentially devouring my previous schedule (academia has all but shut down), I'm now free to re-enter the DND madhouse after a short hiatus! I'm been in DND for four years now with a range of campaigns and play styles under my belt and I'm open for trying something new. I tend to be a quick-ish learner, and I try to be person who'll shallow his pride and ask for clarification if I don't understand something (I know how stubbornness can drag down campaigns). Big on RPing and helping with storytelling, so hopefully that's a plus :) I'm EST time-wise, and my schedule is completely open for the foreseeable future (basically til this horrible year blows over :P ) Have a great night, and stay healthy folks!
