Hi all! I've been developing a new RPG system which focuses on cinematic, back and forth storytelling between the players and GM. The crux of this (for the moment) is the combat, where the player and the GM outbid each other, and in the process describe a back and forth series of events. When one player folds, the other has to see if they can roll high enough to fulfill their bid, or whether the situation turns out differently than they'd hoped... The system has more nuance to direct player behaviour (but also allowing them to "bluff"). I'm looking for 2-4 willing playtesters who are willing to give this a go as a one-shot. It would be no more than 3 hours, and hopefully we can have a lot of fun together (I've tested it on my own group and they seemed to have a good time!). I'm free some evenings BST, and thanks to furloughing many afternoons as well. Feel free to reply here or give me a DM if you're interested :) Since the RPG is system first, rather than setting (although it's designed to make settings restructure core mechanics in the system), we can be fairly flexible in determining the combat scenario. I would be interested in doing a kind of Fury Road , post-apocalyptic style car chase, but if the group comes up with an alternative I'd be happy to try that too (it's a good stress test for this kind of system). Thanks! :)
