I know this has come up before, specifically [here] , but I would like to revive the suggestion that a player should be able to make a /gmroll so that the results would only be known by the GM. This allows the player to initiate the action which lends to more player interaction and less demand on the GM while increasing the level of suspense for players. "I wonder if I was spotted by tower guards?" or "Did the Queen believe my lie about the army of undead marching toward the castle?" Can anyone give examples of how this could be useful in roll20? Any downside?
