JQBX is a web app that requires you to login with a premium Spotify account and then lets you create rooms that allow you to broadcast playlists to multiple people. The reason it works, it that it uses Spotify's API to play the tracks through Spotify , and of course requires you to login with the Spotify account. Might be worth using as a point of reference!
