Tokens linked to handouts?

Is there a way to link a token to a handout, so that I could put said token on the GM layer and use it to reference said handout. Would be useful for traps, and treasures and such. Cheers in advance.

I'm also a fan of the quick and dirty shift-Z - if the handout is text & image that fits on one screen & players don't need to call up themselves, they get a much bigger, cleaner image this way. You can also place these in rooms as book-sized artwork & give players token permission so they can walk up to it, select it and push Z to essentially read the piece of paper lying on the desk.

Ah, yeah. I don't need this to show to players, I more or less meant that I wanted something on the map that I could refer to quick and simple, like there is a journal in this room, I place a journal on the GM layer, and can shift-click it to quickly and easily refer to that journal's related handout.

Since you are a pro user, you could also benefit from the API solution in the Map Pins link.
