[Weekly Downtime Thread][Summer II 1526 HC][Sessions 224-232]

Please post any of your downtime activities below. You can find the full rules for downtime  here . You can find last week's downtime thread  here.  An index of all past downtime threads can be found  here. This thread is for the week:  10 June to 14 June, covering sessions 224-232 Always remember to be specific about what downtime action you are taking! If you're leveling up type that in your post labeled as OOC! If you're looking into an item be specific about where that item is from, what mission, when you got it, who from, etc. If you write "I read that book I found" the DM is likely to have no clue what you are talking about. If you are learning a language, or tool make sure to write down how many weeks you have been practicing! This lowers the DC, and gives advantage depending on the number of weeks. Also a reminder that players only get one main downtime action per week.

Cedrych Brightbough Major: Levels up to Rogue 9, XP permitting. Need 2,339 XP. Minor: Follows up with Presphine about the vial of Shadow Dragon blood recovered from the last mission. Can it be used to open a portal to the Shadow World like the initial vial we got from Princess Niobhe? Kazimir Volkov TBD Salazar di Fioretti TBD

Eirena Lightshadow Eirena fnishes her retraining as paladin. She will miss being able to see in the dark, as well as the lack of need to rest, but with how things have been going, she thinks it's for the best.  ( Paladin Retraining Week 3 ) Alvah Laurent Continues learning Vos from Salazar. The language really seems to clash with her. Such a rough language just isn't made to be spoken by her. ( Week 3 ) Robert Bossouri Robert thinks about what lead to his incarceration. While he seems calm on the outside, he is screaming internally. Sithric Sidhefriend Sithric recovers from his cold and rests up for the next go at the vampire. Takumir Jachral Stays in Hjolvar to continue learning Rjuven. ( Modest Lifestyle, Week 2 )

Glenn Sturgis Glenn continues his training with Midgardian Attempt 2

Korak (Leveling to 10) The thought of the Shadow Realm and being transformed into something else that contorts Moradins children or having his soul stolen away from his god is Koraks greatest fear. Disheartened by his cowardice affecting his fighting spirit Korak spends time in meditation and prayer. During one of the deeper sessions of prayer he sees or imagines a scene unfolding in front of him. A great hand is outstretched holding a flickering ember of the forge. Beneath Koraks feet are the shades of what look like Dwerren but twisted creatures, fighting one another over gold and items while others cower from Moradins greatest enemies. Korak reaches out to touch the light of the forge and as soon as his hand gets close he snaps out of his stupor. Hallucination or Divination either way Korak feels more in tune with his god and feels one day he may be answered.  (Minor Action: Returning Aqueous  Cloak to Hjolvar) Korak returns the cloak to the King and apologizes for keeping it longer than asked for, he only wanted to keep it until the Vampire was dealt with but progress has slowed. He explains the situation with the vampire and the assault taking longer than expected but the item did help put massive damage into the forces of the vampire and caused his pulling allies back from the world.

Drago & Nalu Drago and Nalu have been together for a whole year!!!!  Over this time has Drago ever seen Nalu eat meat or anything that isn't fruit? He feels he was completely insensitive when talking to her about growing and eat. As a creature that has been eaten over 500 times, why would she ever want to put something through the horror she has gone through. Drago apologies for being insensitive and ... being an idiot.  Minor: Is Nalu a vegetarian, saying sorry. Major: Feat Training,  Send the last remaining gold to Urkenhame to finish tower upgrade: 5000/5000 Orithar Trisk Major: Continues his axe training with the dwerren.  Fenris Why in the margreve he checks on Primefanie (The frog of frogs) who has been living at Cordi's tower in the pond. Due to her good health Fenris offer to train cordi in navigating around. Major: (maybe level up) Nubby OOC:  Training Brewing supplies, first attempt.

Diesa Gemfire Location: Roesone Diesa writes a letter to the court of Grevesmuhl, her homeland, expressing concern that members of the cohort have reported that there is a lich under the city of Daugren, a number of strange oozes or slime people inhabiting the sewers and that strange cultist abominations rove the countryside. She enquires as to what measures are being taken to protect the people from these potential threats. Galena Abanathu Location: Mispera Galena hopes to complete her musical composition and perform it for her mother Habivi and her sisters and perhaps Mispera herself. Aubrae Trevelyan Location: Osoerde Aubrae tries to find out whether William Moergan, the legitimate duke of Osoerde, is still alive and fighting for his throne after Ghoere has replaced the usurper Jaison Raenech. Sabiha bint Habivi Location: Thylea Sabiha is magic and gets more magical. (Level up)

Raven Tonks Rowan Major: learning Arcana from her mentor. week 1 minor: find bat friend from Mission and take it back to Cordie tower She also shows Shurran around and asks her how there relationship would work: whether she wants to be Ravens "apprentice",or just her Wife, and if they get married, what will they're accommodations be (could they make a spider house?) and how will it effect her status and other questions of that nature. Hen Major :  hopes one of the People at the Sanctuary can teach her the Deception skill. Hadrian Darkleaf Major:  Rendi Theocus Major: learning the Nature skill? Chikat Stonehaven Major:  Nerolia Major:   sings some songs.

Nils Ullstein Location:   Halls of the Cohort Arcanum, Isle of Fabrica  Major Action: Nils is reinvigorated by his close call with death. His most recent quest against the Vampire gives him renewed sense of purpose in the Cohort. He yearns to serve the Light - seeing a new role model in Glenn who shows strength not just in arms but also in supporting his companions. He takes the time to summon a new celestial mount to replace the riding horse he lost on his last mission although it is a poor approximation of Biscuits ("Find Steed" - Warhorse).  OOC: Leveling up to Paladin 5 (XP willing). Shou Location:  Zoebeck (Modest Lifestyle - 16sp) Major Action:  Shou gathers information on the current state of Braidwood village and if there have been any recent travellers from home visiting Zoebeck. In particular he wants to know if the Thorn King still harasses his kinsmen. 

Savas Al-Hadar Savas will spend his time in reflection and study of the martial arts to advance to level 7 Cleric. Mizra Kadir el-Djafara Spends his second week of level up training towards Wizard 1 under the tutelage of Persephone.  When he is not studying, he is working in Persephone's shop, cleaning up, organizing, or any other task she may have for him. Jannis The Red Jannis will spend 90 GP hiring a tutor to assist him with his first week of cross-training into Eldritch Knight.

Grian Level up to Druid 1 week 2/2

Zolis Zolis trains. He is in peak physical form due to being de-aged to his 20s but is his losing his grip mentally. He disappears naked into the wilderness accompanied by only his halberd and the haunting cries of the Margreve villagers he killed. OOC: Leveling up to Fighter 6

Alvah Laurent Alvah finally gets her head around Vos and learns it. Robert Bossouri Robert has a horrible time in prison. Sithric Sidhefriend Sithric recovers from his cold and rests up for the next go at the vampire. Takumir Jachral Takumir successfully learns Rjuven Glenn Sturgis Glenn successfully learns Midgardian Korak Korak levels up. (Elee: returning the Aqueous Armor) The armour is returned successfully, though the king seems offended it took Korak so long he doesn't say anything. Medi Medi completes her retraining. Lyla Lyla levels up Cordie Cordie needs more time to learn the Nature skill Drago & Nalu (Elee: training feat again and trying to ask Nalu if she's vegetarian) Nalu doesn't seem to eat much outside of blueberry muffins. Getting an answer out of her is extremely difficult. Feat training is as normal. Orithar Trisk (Elee: training with the double axe again. I think this is week 3 of attempting) I think you completed this, but then got transformed. Fenris Primefanie is enjoying its time in the pond behind Cordie's tower. Nubby Nubby will need more time to learn to use Brewer's Supplies as he keeps eating the potatoes before they can ferment. Darvius Darvius levels up. Diesa Gemfire (Elee: Writing to Grevesmuhl regarding threats in the area) There actually isn't a response to this. Either out of ignorance, incompetence, or just straight apathy. Galena Abanathu Galena works on a special musical piece, taking her time to ensure it's fit for the audience she has in mind. At this point though she doesn't feel confident that it's a masterpiece. Aubrae Trevelyan (Elee: Researching the situation in Osoerde) Aubrae hears that he was last seen traveling to Inverness. She doesn't find out where that is. Sabiha bint Habivi Sabiha does the magic level up. Raven Tonks Rowan Raven has already trained in one skill (Stealth in Fall IV). You are able to retrain one of your existing skills to gain Arcana if you wish. If so, you must specify which skill you're giving up in exchange. Either way, Raven does succeed in learning Arcana if you want to give up another skill proficiency. (Elee: RP with Shurran) I think we handled this in light RP. Hen Fellow Wings member Saorise agrees to help Hen out, though she will need more time to learn the skill. Hadrian Darkleaf Rendi Theocus Rendi has already trained their one free skill (Arcana in Spring III). As with Raven, you will need to give up an existing skill proficiency if you wish to complete this training. Rendi is capable of learning Nature this downtime if you give up another proficiency. Chikat Stonehaven Nerolia Nerolia sings some songs and finds herself gaining a few fans. Nils Ullstein Nils levels up. Shou (Elee: Researching the state of Braidwood Village and whether the Thorn King is still harassing them) The Thorn King seems to have vanished somewhat recently. At least he isn't causing trouble anymore. Some people are passing around rumours that all of his vampire minions suddenly turned to dust. Perhaps The Margreve turned on him? Savas Al-Hadar Savas levels up. Mizra Kadir el-Djafara Mizra continues training in the arcane. Jannis The Red Jannis begins to retrain himself. Grian Levelling up to druid will take a third week. Zolis Zolis levels up, the guilt heavy on his mind.

Raven Tonks Rowan Raven has already trained in one skill (Stealth in Fall IV). You are able to retrain one of your existing skills to gain Arcana if you wish. If so, you must specify which skill you're giving up in exchange. Either way, Raven does succeed in learning Arcana if you want to give up another skill proficiency. (Elee: RP with Shurran) Rendi Theocus Rendi has already trained their one free skill (Arcana in Spring III). As with Raven, you will need to give up an existing skill proficiency if you wish to complete this training. Rendi is capable of learning Nature this downtime if you give up another proficiency. Raven  will retrain Deception for Arcana Rendi will retrain Acrobatics for Nature
