Bundles and already purchased content

I have been looking at the D&D monster bundle but I already own the Monster Manual from the DM bundle. I had assumed that like other online services like steam etc I could gift the content of the bundle that I already owned. Good thing I checked as I guess that is not the case and I would have paid for something I already own. It would be nice if they could deduct the cost of content you own or give the option to gift it to someone else especially since roll20 doesn't seem to do sales of product etc. Some flexibility would definitely be nice regarding their bundles and maybe a discounts at certain purchase amounts especially as there don't seem to be sales on products.
