Possible Dynamic Lighting handy hint?

Hi all, complete noob here (only got a plus subscription a few hours ago). i've got a few pages in my campaign where i have several small maps on one page (so it's easier to flick between multiple possible encounters).  i've put DL barriers around each one so the are self contained, and I have found that if you want some in daylight and some not, you can just double click on the map tile itself and set it to create light that all players can see! tadaa! - small self contained fully lit maps This might be old-news to everyone else but I was quite proud of myself.

That is pretty clever!  I'll have to try that out.  It probably doesn't make light all over the map if there are internal DL lines, but it probably does make the map image visible regardless of available light in an area.  Still very cool and bears some investigation. =D
That is very creative, nicely done.

As far as i can see the only way to have a fully lit map and still have fog of war is to either have a map item in each room emitting light, or have the players emit their own light. Unless i'm missing something?  Or if you want a fully lit building with fog of war do you just disable dynamic lighting but leave fog of war active?
