Roll20 copies images to folders instead of moving them

When I try to move an image from "recent" uploads to a new folder I created, the item just copies instead of moving and whenever I look up videos for help, they do the same thing I do but with different results. I've tried deleting the item afterwards (that deletes it in the folder as well). I don't want to go through the work of scrolling up and down to get my assets in the folder I want them in and I really don't want two copies of the same image. Please, someone, how do I fix this?
Items you upload all go into the Recent Uploads. When you "move" them, you are really making a pointer to the original image in your Recent Uploads. If you delete them from Recent Uploads they are permanently deleted. If you want to hide the items you have made pointers to, click the double-square icon to the right of the Recent Uploads header. This button allows you to filter out all uploads you have already put in your library from your recent uploads list
