SEARCH CLOSED Hello anyone that is intrigued by the title I am looking for 2 additional players for a special kind of game. To make sure it is clear where this is going, I try to give as much info on this as I can! (Be aware that I might not answer to PMs instantly, I have stuff to do, but I WILL answer to all PMs! When I am no longer looking, I will note it here so until then, assume that a spot is still free) About me: I am not gonna lie. I am new. I did read D&D rule stuff, I watched Critical Role. But I had only played in two groups so far, with one stopping pretty fast and the other is currently on it's 6th week. So by all means, I lack experience as a player. As a DM, I am literally a baby . But due to the lack of DMs in comparison to players, I decided to give DMing a go. So when you show interest in joining this game, please be aware that I might struggle or make mistakes. I learn as I go and if anyone is new and wants to do their first baby steps into D&D, you're welcome to join and learn with me and the others (who are also all totally or relatively new). About the game: If you are on Tumblr in D&D circles, you actually might know where I got the idea from xD The "story": You play as a Tiefling toddler. Congratz, you are finally able to waddle through life and your vocabulary is growing daily (and the nanny is praying that you never overhear her curse). Your ambitions are to get a cool new toy and have many chocolate cookies. And all that might be relatively boring...But you are Tiefling babies. Each of you little rascals is naturally able to wield a single cantrip. One of you can just run off with the cookie jar stolen via Mage Hand. Another just puts Friend on a dog to pet it. And god knows what the kiddo does who knows Thaumaturgy... Each player will play a child and you decide among yourselves who gets which cantrip (I give the selection). We build your tiny toddlers and then it's off to have a glorious adventure. The "mechanics": The adventure - depending on whatever the majority decides on - will either be a ~2 session hit-and-run on a candy store or a full adventure in three locations with lots of stuff to see, to do (to break, to take, to put in your mouth if the Nanny doesn't make you spit it out instantly...) that will take however long you need to successfully satisfy your hunger for candy, sweets. shinies and more. Setting..... professionals would probably call it Homebrew cause the places I use don't officially exist on any maps. Inspired by Sword Coast ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Other than that: (Note that you CAN get grabbed or knocked out and that you might be able to knock out adults as well, if you cause a "battle". No guarantee that there will be any actual fight though, so work with the assumption that I might have initiative rolled, but there will be no epic spell slinging or stuff ^-^) Other stuff: No time or day has been decided on yet. It will be discussed in the group when everyone got time. Ideally you are at least a little flexible so that part can work out. It will NOT happen on Saturday (2pm - 4am EST) or on Thursday (9pm - 1am) cause that is when I/group members have stuff going. As stated, beginners preferred. If only two people apply and one is experienced, I am of course not gonna say no. But as someone looking for a group for quite a bit myself, I want to give beginners the spot over experienced players. I can't promise a spot as I only got two, but if you are new and want to try D&D, know that this will be a very unserious and casual run with no death or tense battles beyond running away from the store clerk cause you stuffed a bunch of jawbreakers into your mouth. If I caught your interest and you wanna live out your secret dream of stealing a single shoe dressed in a purple onesie while causing the storekeeper to slip on the frozen floor you made... Send me a private message. If you have any questions that I didn't think of, you can also message me. We can have a chat on Discord and if I think you fit, then we can go from there :) P.S. Depending on how the run goes and how much interest I potentially garner, I might make this a regular thing, so if you didn't get in the first time, maybe your chance to break out in tears cause you ate your cookie and can't find it anymore will come another day ;D
