Hi, I will be starting a campaign hopefully this weekend, because I have kids the best time for me personally will be around 8PM on Saturday nights. I'm looking for a player (maybe 2, a party of 5 would be nice but logistically can be difficult to maintain) who is reliable and committed to being around every week. I know I'm picking the most popular timeslot, but it's the only thing that works with my schedule and that of my other two players, who I have known for many years and are able to reliably be present. I am not interested in min/maxers, we will be trying for a healthy balance of RP and Combat, we are not hardcore RPers but we enjoy casual RP. I have a fair amount of experience with 5e rules and roll20, and I do tend to do a little bit of homebrew tweaking here or there (potions as a bonus action being the main one I can think of). We are all pretty flexible and forgiving, our primary goal is to have fun as a group not at each others' expense. New or experienced players or anything in between are welcome, my main criteria is consistent attendance, as that is the thing that has destroyed every other campaign we've tried to run. Well, that and a min/maxer one time that sucked the fun out of everything. The campaign will be beginning probably around level 3-5. Relatively simple setting to begin with, with organic sandbox storytelling being used if possible but I can take the reins if need be. Creativity and originality very welcome, but not required. If you're familiar with D&D podcasts at all, the vibe we are looking for is more Tabletop Champions than Critical Role. We want to hang out, enjoy each other's company both as players and characters, and build a world and story together. If all that sounds good, hit me up on Discord to discuss further.
