Game Setting Years after Gjallahorn reformed itself into a democracy lead under the sole leadership of Rustal Elion, though peace within the organisation lasted for some time it was only natural that a group within Gjallahorn would attempt to force it back into its former glory of military might. This time was known as the “War of Power.” Which lasted for three years till Rustal was killed by the revolting group. But their move was quickly trumped by the four economic blocks as they all voted that the universe was better without human bloodshed. This democratic vote was called the “Day of Peace” as all military organizations were ordered to downsize or cease to exist. Gjallarhorn was defunded and was dropped down to a simple earth and space police force instead of the military might that it was attempting to be.  Where you come in.  10 Years after the Day of Peace, large military forces were still prohibited on Mars and Earth territory. But there was a loophole within the legislation, private security contractors could still operate even within the Days of Peace. Though the universe had forgotten of war, people like you know that the bloodshed never truthfully stopped. Funded by the economic blocks and the martian union a number of small battles have been fought through the private security contractors. About Me Hello all, Im Ryku. Ive been GMing for quite some time now using pathfinder and Dnd mostly. Fate is still a new system to me so I apologize if Im unfamiliar with some of the mechanics. When I run campaigns they are more on the dark and grim side of things, I dont really do comedy. I like to keep my players immersed and allow them to make hard decisions as if they were really in the world itself. What I expect Im looking for players that have the ability to stay in character and make decisions based off the character they decide to play. I don’t mind Having players that are unfamiliar with the fate system or unfamiliar with the Gundam setting. I’m looking for people that are willing to do homework to put themselves on par with the common knowledge of the lore and how to play the game at a novice level. Game Information  This game will be bi weekly on Saturdays at 7pm EST. We will use discord for voice and Roll20 for the rolls and game information of course.  This game will require an anime art style for characters (this does not include the mobile suits) head portfolio style only. I am very critical on character pictures so please do not get offended if I deny you choice of character reference pictures as it messes with my immersion if a photo is out of the scope of my liking.  Character Creation  This game will utilize Fate Core, as though Gundam is about Giant Mobile Suit combat there are still a lot of other things that are just as important as we will not just be the suit but also the pilot who’s a human with other skills unrelated to Mobile Suits.  Pilot Character Templates will utilize the traditional fate core character sheet.  Mobile Suit Template Name: Design Philosophy: Gear Attachment: MS Stress Track  [][] Consequence Mild x1, Moderate x1, Severe x1 Design Philosophy: Every creation has a design reason, your mobile suit is no different. How was it created, what purpose does it have on the battlefield, how does it perform, what's the general attitude of the mobile suit.  Gear Attachment: Every Mobile Suit comes with certain gear that makes it unique and capable of performing its design Philosophy such as weaponry, armors, flight enhancement, radars and ect. All mobile suits start with one free gear attachment, more may be purchased.  Mobile Suit Advancement Gear Points are how players can upgrade and customize their Mobile Suit. Gear Attachments, Consequences and Stress are what is changeable with Gear Points. Players begin character creation with 6 GP and will receive additional Gear Points after major milestones are completed and the narrative justifies so. Gear Attachments and Consequences are purchased for a one for one value and Stress is valued at the Mobile Suits next highest Stress notch. Additional Ruling   After the third Gear Attachment is placed on a Mobile Suit the cost goes up to x2 the cost in GP. All created Items are subject to change if need be nothing is set in stone.
