[LFP] [Pathfinder] [PAID] Game Master Looking for 1 Player for ongoing Ironfang Invasion Pathfinder (First Edition) AP

This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $50 USD per player per four sessions via Paypal, paid in advance. An initial character creation / meet and greet session will be offered for no charge. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Update 8/12/2020: There is one slot opening for this game starting next week, 8/16/2020. Please post here if you are interested in joining the game. The party has just reached level 5, and we will be 16 sessions into the adventure. We've just started book 2 of the AP, so it would be a great time to jump in! Please find the LFG posting and application thread link HERE. Games are scheduled every Tuesday at 7:00pm EST / 6:00pm CST. About the Adventure When the PCs witness their hometown of Phaendar destroyed in the first steps of an all-out war of conquest, they begin a quest that leads them from desperate survival to heroes of legend as they push back against the monstrous Ironfang Legion. This ruthless army—helmed by the hobgoblin General Azaersi and empowered by an ancient artifact—intends to claim both Nirmathas and Molthune while the isolated nations bicker with one another. The heroes' quest will take them deep into the fey-haunted Fangwood Forest, to the craggy bluffs of western Nirmathas, and delve deep into the earth to explore the Darklands. Can a small band of refugees grow into champions and push back against Azaersi's horde, or will the Ironfang Invasion give way to an Ironfang nation? Please find Paizo's Player's Guide (includes setting information, recommendations, and campaign-specific character traits) to the Ironfang Invasion adventure path for free here: https://paizo.com/products/btpy9sc5 Who am I? Hi. I’m Eric. I’m 32 years old and work as an IT professional. I’ve been playing tabletop games for nearly ten years, and most of that time has been spent in Pathfinder. I’ve been using Roll20 for nearly seven of those years, both in personal and public games. I’m a huge fan of Pathfinder (and other systems) actual play podcasts, such as the Glass Cannon Podcast or Find the Path. I’m also an avid video gamer, some favorites include Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Cities: Skylines, Stellaris, and (lately) Bannerlord. What’s my style? I like to be adaptive and responsive while I’m running games. I’ll roll with a scenario where the party chooses to go off-book and am happy to accomodate spontaneous roleplay or side adventures. That being said, I’ll always keep in mind how the world moves around you - if you delay saving the king to go raid a goblin lair, there’s a chance you might be too late to save him. I also tend not to pull punches or fudge rolls - if you miss a perception check to spot loot, stumble into a trap, or suffer a nasty crit during combat, then I will play it out according to the dice. I will play with the goal of throwing you into a threatening and difficult, but not insurmountable, world. Overall, my focus is on fun and enjoyment, and I firmly believe that is best achieved through a balance between healthy roleplay, tactical challenge, and dramatic tension. I do have some house rules that are detailed further in the forum thread below. Why Ironfang Invasion? Having previously run a group through the adventure path, I feel that I have intimate knowledge of the plot, the setting, and the characters. This will translate into a more immersive and seamless experience for the players. The adventure itself is also one I personally enjoy, as it focuses on a “behind enemy lines” experience, where the PCs find themselves in a position very unlike many campaigns - the game becomes one of self sufficiency, survival, and guerilla tactics. In this AP, your mission is to become the thing that monsters fear. What do I charge? I am charging a total of $50 via Paypal per player for every four sessions. This payment is due prior to participating in any unpaid sessions. Due to the long-term nature of a Paizo adventure path, I feel a monthly/4-session “subscription” to the game makes more sense than a per-session rate. This helps to foster a greater degree of commitment from the players, as cycling in new characters can become disruptive to the experience. What can you expect? A full experience with Roll20 integration, including dynamic lighting, custom tokens, an interactive character roster, and an active Discord chat with the other players, including optional text roleplay. Upon joining the game, I will share a link to the Discord server that will be used for voice and out-of-game chat. Sessions will be run weekly for 3-4 hours, and I will be available between sessions for questions or chatting. I will encourage and incorporate character backstories into the wider plot where it feels appropriate and reasonable. I am limiting the party size to 4-5 players, as I believe any more would hurt the experience for everyone.
Any flexibility with time? Am in PST and earliest I could start is 600 pm PST.
Sorry, no wiggle room on the time, the rest of the group is EST/CST.
