Charactermancer "Next" Button Not Working

Playing in D&D 5e game. I've been trying to level up my character for a few days now (from level 2 to level 3), but I can't click the "Next" button on the charactermancer "Welcome" screen. I tried changing "lp-mancer_status" from "active" to [blank] which gives me access my character sheet, but if I try to access the charactermancer button again, I have the same issue. I even rebuilt my character in the charactermancer at level 1 and gave myself enough xp to get to level 2, but it still won't move from the welcome page to update my character on charactermancer.  I'm on a Macbook Pro laptop, and I've tried to do this on both Chrome and Safari. I have no extensions running and I deleted my cache. I've logged in and out several times. No results.  Please help.

Just checking the most common culprit: You do not have the sheet popped out into its own window?
I don't think so. When I click my character sheet, it "pop outs" in its own tab/square thing but it's still technically in the same window. That appears to be the only way I can access it. I'm not clicking the two squares in the upper left hand box to move it to a new window or anything.

Thanks Sam, that helps. Some more things to check: You are using the D&D 5th Edition by Roll20 Sheet. This is the only one with full CHaractermancer compatibility. Are you using any third party extensions that might be interfering? Try running in a private browsing window. You can also try Firefox, though Chrome should work. Try a different name. "XIV" does not contain any characters that might cause problems (quote marks, brackets, etc.) but it's good to rule out. Edit: That Charactermancer text looks unusual, perhaps indicating a non-standard sheet or the legacy sheet? The current version should say this in the second section: The Charactermancer currently supports Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition SRD and the Player's Handbook. You can add the Player's Handbook to your compendium in the Marketplace, or the game owner can share their compendium with everyone in the game.

Yeah, that looks to be the legacy sheet, which should still work. It does on my test game. But you are completely missing a row of buttons. Screen shot below. It looks like something is interfering with the normal operation of the sheet. I just tested on Safari (which is not a supported browser) and the buttons appear, so that is not it. My guess is that your GM (or the creator of the game) has installed a modified version of the legacy OGL sheet, and somehow damaged its interaction with the charactermancer.
