[LFG][5e][BROKE AF] Anyone looking for a player, by chance?

All I can offer is voices, character variety, and hopefully some pretty good RP.  My name's Alex, I'm pretty new to DnD, only ever had one game of 5th edition before and after it ended I took a break rather than trying to find a new game. Big mistake. I'm a broke Uni student so I can't pay for nothin', and looking at the forums is a bit depressing when you have less than a dollar in your bank account and no job (for now). My pity story aside, if you're looking for a player, namely someone new-ish but familiar enough with 5e to not need to ask too many questions, I'd be happy to join. My schedule is pretty open most of the week, and while I don't have experience with DnD, I've done a lot of PbP (play-by-post) RP in the past, so I'm well-adjusted to roleplaying and sticking to a character. Happy to fit any roles needed as I like bringing balance to party chemistry and interacting with other players. Looking for a more traditional DnD game, homebrew or a module, one-shot or campaign, so long as it's, y'know, 5e fantasy shenanigans.  Cheers~!

If you are interested in trying a different system, I am DM'ing a paranoia 1-shot Sat 9/12 at 12 Noon US central. You don't need to know anything of the rules. You don't need group cohesiveness, it is a game of roleplaying, backstabbing, treasonous dealings, and outright silliness. All you need to be able to do is to keep a smile on your face as you occasionally get put through the meat grinder.
