Map Quality

I've been using standard quality maps and following all the map guides I can find, but when I close and reload my editor it destroys the image quality to the point where it's practically unusable. Does this happen to anyone else? And is there a way to stop it?

Do you mean permanently? Because the only thing that Ive experienced that I can think of, that would be similar is that the image quality is poor while the image is loading.  But sometime after, the image finishes loading and the quality recovers. How long it takes tends to depend on the size of the image, how many images are in the game, and the state of my internet connection at the time of loading. How long have you waited to see if the images are just loading in?
