Hey guys! I'm starting a new LGBTQ+ friendly game of the Agents of Edgewatch Adventure Path! I'm still looking for two fresh recruits. No previous experience with Pathfinder 2e needed - I am happy to help you get acquainted with the system! About the game This is a pay-to-play game Time : Wednesday, 6 pm GMT. Length : At least 3 hours per session, up to 4 hours. Payment : 10$ per session, paid up to 24h **after** the session. Both newcomers and experienced players welcome! Why pay to pay? Have you ever applied to 10 different games not to be accepted to any of them? Have you ever joined a game and had the GM disappear just after a couple of games? Have your players been flickering in and out as if under the Blink spell? Well, me too. Payment goes both ways. For you, the players, it ensures that the GM (me) is always prepared, at the height of their capabilities, and won't vanish in the middle of the night. For me, it allows to focus on the game full time, prep for it, manage subscriptions, pay for the modules, maps, tokens and other additions to the game. For both of us, it gives the best experience possible. Payment policy This game is Play before you pay. You can pay up to 24 hours after a session. If you don't enjoy the session, be it the first or any session after, feel free to not continue playing with the group. You won't be charged for that session, but you also won't be allowed back. (Obviously, I would rather we talked about what you didn't like so I can remedy the problem) Payment is acceptable only through Paypal. Once a session is paid for, it is non refundable. About me I'm Edwin, 31, he/him. I've been playing and DMing Pathfinder 2e for about half a year. RPGs, overall... two decades? It's been a while. I've played various games over the years, including Warhammer, Earthdawn, Shadowrun, various editions of D&D, Coriolis and Blades in the Dark. For several years I've been working in the video game industry, only to drop this year and start freelancing. For my part in this Adventure Path, I will be tweaking and redoing parts of the adventure to allow for much greater player agency, adding some interesting minor sidequests, as well as trying to react on the fly to any of your wild shenanigans. Rules 1. No racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. One strike and you're out. This is a LGBTQ+ friendly zone. 2. Don't be an ass in any other ways either. Respect other players. Harassing is unacceptable. 3. Be punctual. Your fellow players are waiting for you. 4. If you are unable to attend a session, please let us know at least 24h before (48h is even better). If there are less than 3 players available for a game, I will postpone it till the next week (with no charge, of course). 5. We will be using Discord for voice and out of game communications. 6. You must have stable internet connection and a decent microphone. 7. If there are any issues, criticism, questions, feel free to DM me. In fact, please do, as I want you to have the best experience possible. 8. Have fun. Concerns about the Adventure Path The timing of the AP was... not ideal. Paizo handled the situation decently enough, but still, it bears mentioning. My personal views are anti-law enforcement, and, while I don't live in the US, I support the protests and wholeheartedly. However, at the same time, I enjoy crime and detective stories, series, etc. immensely. I am aware they're mostly fictious and at least in some part copaganda. Also, fantasy as a genre is itself more than a little bit reactionary. So, as long as we all acknowledge the differences between real life representation and its image in media, it'll be fine. I want to make sure everyone is 100% confortable with the themes covered by the campaign. The Adventure Path itself is easy to convert so that you don't play as guardsmen, but private investigators, regular adventures or whatever you would like. We will talk about it at length before the first session. In short, Black Lives Matter. ACAB. Let's leave this dystopia for a while and have some fun.
