Adding a D&D Next character sheet

Is there a reason I don't see a list of attributes and macros in that tab?

Not sure exactly what it is you are asking, but, assuming you've chosen to use the D&D Next sheet that's available in the campaign settings, i'll have a guess at it being one of the following - * Sheet attributes that are in repeating sections (the parts where you can add more rows) are never shown in the "attributes and abilities" tab * On the "attributes and abilities" tab - only the attributes that have been "touched" (filled in or otherwise updated in some way in on the sheet) will be listed there. This does not mean that you cannot use the attributes contained on the sheet in your own custom macro's or token abilities though. See the D&D Next character sheet wiki page for info on all the attributes that you can use if you want to setup your own macros - <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/DnDNext_Character_Sheet" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/DnDNext_Character_Sheet</a> * Still on the "attributes and abilities" tab - the abilities section will only show token abilities that you have specifically setup. Any buttons on ANY character sheet are designed to be run from the sheet itself. Sheet authors can set a particular roll button (not in a repeating section) to show up as a token action but even then it wont be listed under the abilities section of the character sheet and will simply be shown as a button in the token action bar when you click on a token associated with that character.

That was my issue in earlier versions of character sheets when they first came out. I have a system in place and it was creating a disaster. It seems like I should be able to integrate your sheet. I'll test it out later that once I fill out a field if it adds an attribute for it. I sent you a PM, don't know if you had a chance to see it. I was wondering if there is anyway to implement an autocalculate on the cureent total weight of items? Will it involve turning a repeating section into a preset section with for instance a set of 50 or 100 rows and each having a specific attribute value? I think I might have to do that so my players won't have to use google docs. I think that is the only thing this is missing. They like the autocalculation of current weight, and I can't see them switching 100% unless this can do that as well. Overall it looks pretty good but I'll have to test it further.

I just saw the PM too but i wont reply now that i saw this thread too :) Just to clarify, you can still use the attributes listed in the wiki page in your own macros, API scripts, whatever...even if they are not listed in the attributes tab. That's why I added a wiki page so people that wanted to dig deeper or customise stuff could do so a bit easier knowing what options they had available. There is no way to auto calc a repeating set without using the API. It's one of the most requested things and one of the 2 features I'd really like to see added to the repeating sections (alongside users being able to re-order rows). It would indeed be possible with a static set of rows as you suggested, but that of course has it's own issues. I've mentioned before that I dont plan to update the Next sheet any further but with the full 5e release not far away I am working on an updated version that i hope will be available a day or so after i see the ruleset. The feedback I receive regarding the Next sheet is whats driving the development of the 5e sheet so please keep any suggestions coming. I have chosen not to use repeating sections for some parts of the 5e sheet (where i did on the Next version) so that it was easier for people to create their own macros or even call the built in ones directly (you can do this with buttons inside repeating sections). It's still very much in development though, and of course subject to change when the full release is available. I have to admit I was going to leave the inventory as a repeating section but I havent quite got to that section of the sheet yet in the re-development so i'll have a play around with what might work in the new setup when i get there. I have some other ideas i'm toying with including too as well as a plan to do an API enhanced version of the sheet once it's stable and so on so if you have any feedback or suggestions on what you'd like to see then by all means drop me another PM.
