Episode 20 Update: Having slain some ogres and decided to keep their hard earned gold after a fight that had almost cost their life. The party has returned now to the Mumbling Mage Inn and in the middle of the night found themselves compelled to try and give away a piece of their spoils to some disembodied voice that seemed capable of dominating their minds. After deciding it best not to entertain such flights of fancy and returning to sleep they found the voice… quite persistent, and perhaps even a bit clingy in its attempts to secure tribute. It has a particular crystal habit that causes it to form long delicate points from which its name is derived. Taking from the Greek Astro (star) and Phyllon (leaf) the words are combine to make the root of this mineral. Set into the almost snowy Quartz, it appears as if the tooth of some magical beast you might find dwelling among the snows of a some frost giant's menagerie.
