Looking for at least 2 other DMs/GMs, no experience required, for a new homebrew world/campaign. Elf Murder is the current name of the project, as it best reflects my DM style, players make their little elf characters, and I murder them. I make it hurt in the feelings, with a lingering sadness, as the I remind them, ingame, with subtle(not subtle) reminders of their previous deaths, in a successful attempt to distract them from strategizing about avoiding their current impending deaths. I like to break up the suffering with some sporadic despair, while maintaining a safe place on my shoulder for players to lean upon and weep. Once per week there will be the main campaign. There will be main characters and a main story. The collaborating GMs will be handle most voice acting, some NPC on the grid action, as well as aiding the Narrator/DM with running the session. The GMs will be unrestrained for the most part. Once per week there will be an optional, non-campaign day. This day will be for building, maintaining, and running the homebrew world in a casual, west marshes like style open to both the main players and some casual players. These casual players may come into and out of the main campaign at some point or run through some one shots or side quests that support the main story line. Players, GMs, and DMs will all have a hand in building the Lore and the Land, while fleshing out the casual characters and NPCs. Every character created will receive a Character Arc Quest, and there will be a Main Campaign Quest. I am 100% versed and comfortable in improvising compelling and balanced content. With the project I have in mind, I think I will need help and am hoping the collaborative GMs will be able to aid or take over some of the tech and art duties. I am interested in live streaming the content, and I hope one of the collaborators will take the lead in that area as well. The purpose of more than one GM is to allow the Narrator/DM to focus on the game, and provide the Players with varied flavor in the NPC interactions. I intentionally do not have many ideas of these quests we will undertake or lands we will explore, as I have found over prep is a lot less fun and engaging for the players. I prefer all Lore discovery to happen ingame, and the aim for myself and the other GMs is to take a backseat to the Players. Schedule will not be finalized for sometime, and my schedule is currently flexible until April. If you are interested in being a GM, casual Player, or even a main Character, post in this thread only. If you are too shy for that, you can attempt to search the campaign "Elf Murder" and post there. You may also cop out and send me mail, I promise I will never humiliate you in public for going that secret route.
