[Bug?] in sendChat( '', '/direct ...') -- CSS: function style parameters like linear-gradient() get stripped.

I'm trying to use a linear gradient like the following: background: linear-gradient(to right, red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo,violet); and it is getting stripped out when the message is sent to the chat. Is this intentional? Or perhaps a side effect of code to strip javascript out? It's really a shame because you can make some great effects with them (or garish ones like the above. =D). Any chance this will get fixed?

What gives?
