The
Desert at the End is a campaign for new and veteran players alike. It
is LGBTQ+ friendly, and while I typically do not engage in explicit
content, still 18+ for those wishing to join as I sometimes approach
more mature themes (unless a player doesn't wish to engage with them). I
intend for this game to be longer sessions (6-8+ hours) less frequently
(around once a month), in the PST time zone starting sometime in November. Hypothetically
it could go 1-20, but right now I'm focused on 1-5.
The campaign is set in a homebrew desert world right around the time
mortals start to figure out they can make villages and trade resources. The future is uncertain, and completely unwritten! Conceptually, the Mortals are low magic, but the world is high magic - there's plenty of intrigue and strange creatures, but wizards barely exist.
If you are interested, I don't have any solid expectations for an application.
Introduce yourselves! Tell me what type of games you've played, what
you're looking for (do you like roleplay, combat, political intrigue),
stuff you want out of a group! Whatever helps to give a good sense of
who you are as a person and a player. All I expect is engagement and
collaboration as we all work for a fun game and story.
About Me: I've been a GM/DM for nearly 10 years now, and it's one of
my favorite things to do, alongside watching horror movies and writing.
I love creating spaces for characters to breath and make their own
choices in, while still delivering an interesting world and story to
engage with. I focus primarily on stories and roleplay first, although I
have a healthy appreciation for interesting and tactical combat.
I look forward to hearing from you and what you are interested in.
