[The Game] Echoes in the Force is played using the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire system taking place 200 years before the Prequels. People are disappearing across the galaxy left and right with little trace of remains. As a cold dread envelops the galaxy, your transport vessel bound for Onderon meets with an unfortunate accident, dropping you into danger and adventure on the moon below. Echoes in the Force is a story focused campaign intended and is open to all alignments, given the galaxy spanning threat. This campaign welcomes all moralities as long as the table as whole agrees upon it. Should the table approve, even characters such as Crime Lords and Sith can be playable. I often look to include character backstory into the campaign, so if you have a ruthless gangster after you, expect them to make an appearance wanting to settle the debt. If you don't wish for your character backstory to affect the plot, that is fine too, but I find most of my players do. Average Session Length is 4-6 hours on Tuesdays at 4PM PST. 4-6 players. Payment is $15 per session through StartPlaying. [The Rules] 1. Offensive remarks towards other players are not tolerated. I expect common sense out of players and am aware different people find different things offensive, so if it was a misunderstanding, it is okay. But if people ask you to stop doing something and keep doing it, you will be ejected. 2. As stated above, evil characters are okay as long as the table is okay with them. But if your idea of evil is to kill anyone and everything in sight, it will ruin the experience for everyone else. If the table finds you to be disruptive to the point is ruining their enjoyment, you will be removed. 3. Meta gaming can be a fine line sometimes, but I suggest it be avoided where possible. I am perfectly okay with the party strategizing OOC in combat, but meta knowledge runs the risk of dampening the story. 4. Have fun and help each other. This includes things like giving advice when asked for or not pressuring people into making the most efficient play when their character might make a flawed one. [Payment and Scheduling] Session Zero is free. I will work with you to schedule it and help you build your character. (If you need it.) Whether this is done via text or voice in Discord, I will accommodate. Payment is done through StartPlaying and if I must cancel for any reason, you will not be charged. If you need to miss a game for any reason, your character will be NPC'd until you can return. They will stick around for as long as it is story appropriate and can be reintroduced when you can join once again. I will hold your spot on the table if you plan to come back soon, but without communication, your slot at the table could be filled before you come back. I will wait at least 2 weeks before seeking a replacement if no communication has been made. [What will you get?] You will be getting my knowledge and assistance with the system. I can help build just about any character concept with the system and for anything that's a little too niche, I have homebrew for that. I will be certain to craft the narrative around all active players and weave in your character's backstory whenever I can.
