[LFP] 5e Sunday Afternoons 1:00-5:00 p.m. (CDT)

Hey Everyone, I have been DMing and playing on Roll 20 for a few years, and would like to meet some new folks and start a new game. I'm looking for players who are able to make it to the game regularly, have functioning mics for communication, and are willing to get along with others, and work together to make a fun experience for everyone. If this sounds like you feel free to respond to this threat or message me privately. If you're new to D&D, that's totally fine. One thing to give you a heads up on, I'm pretty big on roleplaying and storytelling, so if prefer a more combat focused game, this one might be boring for you. That being said I don't take things too seriously, and I do like to give the players lots of input on building a fun game world. The setting is homebrew, but pretty similar to Forgotten Realms or other more standard fantasy settings. The premise for this game is that you are your party members where conscripted, likely unwillingly but I'll leave that up to you, to fight in a brutal, three-way civil war. Your side lost, but you and your party members survived by watching each other's backs. Now the party makes their way living in a strange post war world that sees them as traitors because they fought for a side that they likely didn't want to fight for in the first place. My plan is to have a quick Session 0 to talk about characters and backstories, and then to play through a prequel of the final climactic battle that initially brought the party together. From there, I'll surrender the reigns to the party, and allow them to explore a more open world and find their own destiny. I'm all about collaborative storytelling and letting my players help design and make their marks on the world. So if you have ideas for characters, cultures, societies, etc tied to your character, feel free to get inventive. I'm shooting for around 4-6 players.

Hello, we ( me and 3 other people) are interested.  If you are interested can you send me a message on Discord (Skeith#2010) or here? The people are me, my wife, my friend and his significant other.   We all know each other so getting along shouldn't be an issue.

Hey, I am interested as well. If you are still in need of a player you can message me here or on discord @ QuigPool#3889
Hello, I'm interested. I started many moons ago in AD&D. DM'd a few campaigns and played a few modules as well.  Took a long break (we didn't have the internet back then, and no one really played by me). I am ashamed to say I did LARP once in my life (Vampire the Masquerade, <i was a moody teenager>). My next pen and paper sessions didn't start until about 4 years ago. I started with an offshoot of friends and fell in love with it. I love meeting new players and would be honored if you let me join your campaign. Currently, I play 2 different online games (the first one wasn't online to start but, Corona) both of which are approaching hiatus due to RL circumstances (employment, children, general adulthood).
I would be interested in joining. Been playing D&D and other RPG for longer than I want to admit. ;) I have been missing out on my gaming fix since our face to face group stopped meeting due to Covid. I do need more experience in roleplaying rather than just combat games. Thanks
I would be very interested, too. Video and Voice should be no issue as I use it on a daily basis out of homeoffice for conferencing. I have some experience in 5E playing two one shots and creating various characters on dndbeyond. I am new to Roll20 but was able to get to know Foundry VTT. I am currently checking out the tutorial on Roll20. I am flexible on the RP / Combat ratio as well as on race and class. I like my character to be an addition to the group.
