These campaign will be built around your characters, there you'll be the ones to decide where it'll go, from a western in Q'Barra to high stakes exploration in the Demon Wastes. These games will be Sandboxes and as such it'll be up to the group to go out, explore and interact with the world around you, being more active than re-active. This campaign will be run with the features of a plus account, so dynamic lighting and line of sight will be there to improve our game experience! I run my games RAW (Rules as written) and with no Homebrews as far as classes and races go (I firmly believe simple is best in that area) - an exception is made for books written by the setting creator Keith Baker (Kanon) like Morgrave Miscellany and Exploring Eberron. Due to a divergence in the availability of applicants, we got 2 individual groups lined up: Wednesdays at 8PM EST [1 SLOT LEFT]: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/254096/eberron-background-driven-campaign-wednesdays Fridays at 8PM EST [3 SLOTS LEFT]: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/259660/eberron-background-driven-campaign-fridays To talk a bit about DMing style, while we'll certainly have a few laughs, this won't be a "meme game", I am a massive fan of Eberron as a setting and one of the main reasons is the Intrigue and Noir aspects of it, thus I play them up and it gives the game a more serious tone, your decisions will matter and your actions will have consequences; While the campaign is background driven, that doesn't mean it'll be a homebrewed game, the setting has it's established lore and I stick to it, so a bit of reading will be required (this is D&D after all). A few character creation rules: -No Setting Specific Races/Classes (Ravnica, Theros, Faerun etc.). -You can choose to either roll or point-buy for your PC. -You can use UAs that have been confirmed on the upcoming book, once it's out we'll adjust the updated features. -Overlapping classes are ok as long as the first person to choose the class agrees to it. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10 per session via paypal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. The first session will only require payment AFTER the session, so you'll only have to pay IF you enjoyed the game and plan on coming back, if you didn't feel like you got the bang for you buck, you don't have to pay, the payments will go towards keeping this hobby self sustaining with the subscriptions and cool assets. Here are some screen shots of the type of games I run: A fallout game. Another ongoing Eberron D&D game. If you're interested make sure to apply at the links above!
