"Better to fight and fall than to live without hope." -Volsunga, c.12 Journey to Ragnarok is a survival campaign that takes players from the world of Midgardr to Asgardr. Weaving Norse mythology with real-life historical locations & figures, players will traverse through Scandinavia encountering challenges that will test their mettle and prove what it means to be a true warrior. At the end of the world, when violence is rampant and brothers fight amongst themselves, how will you decide to live? About Me: Hi, everyone! My name is Robert. I am 26-years-old and currently a college student ready to finish his studies soon. With all of the extra availability that has been caused by the current global situation, I have decided to utilize my love of history and take a chance on becoming a DM for the first time. I have 3+ years of D&D 5E as a player. I am easy to talk to and love meeting new people. Don't be shy to introduce yourselves. :) Expectations: The world of Ragnarok is a tough one. Not only do players have to survive against monsters but also against the environment too. This helps in keeping everyone on their toes and never letting your guard down.  There are new mechanics introduced such as changes to alignments and a rune casting system: I, as the DM, will cast Nordic runes and determine the outcome of certain events depending on the readings.  There is a new class, new subclasses and backgrounds that are closer to what existed in historical Norse society or you can create characters (humans only) using traditional & official WOTC content. All of this information will be sent using e-mail.  Due to the mature nature of the content, players must be 18 or older.  Currently looking for about 4 players, 5 max. Tell Me About Yourself: I'd love to know more about the individuals in our Roll20 community. Please complete the following application: Name: Age: Time Zone: TTRPG Experience: Character Ideas: Knowledge on Norse mythos (if any): Thank you for your time reading, everyone! I'll answer any questions you have and hope to hear from you soon. :D
