PEG Pathfinder Europe Group

What is PEG PEG (Pathfinder Europe group). PEG will be dedicated to trying to host games at times that are more EU friendly. Other players from outside of EU are welcome but please keep in mind that this group will be mainly focused on EU players.&nbsp; I am currently looking for some people that would be willing to DM. I hope to officially open up to players I am in need of DMs that are in the EU. I will also accept DMs from outside of the EU but again keep in mind that you will have to host games that EU players can actually come to. Please PM me if you are interested in being a DM for PEG or leave a comment if you have any questions or are intrested as a player. EDIT:- also guys we welcome people from all experience ranges. Doesn't matter if you have never played pathfinder before you can still sign up and give it a go.&nbsp; Information about characters The rules will be very flexible you can use any class or race you like as long as it is not 3 rd party material. Your character will be aged between 14-15(may slightly change depending on your race) Your characters will start at lvl1. Characters will level up by completing assignment. The harder the assignment the faster you level but of course the greater risk to yourself. Story It is you first day at the school of phoenix you will find yourself in a grand hall filled with new student that are awaiting the headmasters congratulations speech for you are among the selected few that were able to enter the school of phoenix. You will be talking to the people around you as you wait or simply listening to their conversations. The head master enters from behind the stage his strong magical aura could be felt by everyone in the hall and silence fell as he slowly stepped up to the pedestal. Then the headmaster bellows out “WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO PHOENIX” his voice shakes the chairs that you are sitting on and causes the whole room rumble. He then continues to say “I hope that you will all enjoy the 5 years that you will spend in are school for magic and warfare. Here you will learn how to cast advanced spells and how to counter the mightiest of foes, but if you wish to succeed in this school you must have the brains, talent and above all bravery to face what is about to come. Never back down from a challenge and keep pushing forward remember this and you will do well here”. The room once again falls silent. A few moments later the students start to applaud and the headmaster steps down and walks back behind the stage. The deputy headmaster of the school then steps up and says “can you please step up as you are called and a teacher will guide you to your class rooms”. After a few student are called up your name is finally called and you are ready to start your life as student of phoenix. still looking for people to GM

I know I've said this before, but you're going to find that PEG won't get any games to be DM'd unless someone actually DMs. 99% of people don't want to DM, which is silly. That means you aren't going to find a willing DM for GMT times. I wouldn't want to DM because it's at a bad time for me, but you have the ability to DM yourself. Buy the&nbsp; Pathfinder Beginner's Box , read the big letter text 13 ( Pages 2-15) pages on how to run the Black Fang campaign (Easy 5 minute prep dungeon), and DM it yourself. It takes out some mechanics that would overburden a new DM like Attacks of opportunity and is really fun. If you do that, you will inspire other people in your group to DM. No joke. I'm not doing this to criticize you. I'm trying to give you a hand.

Actually mate I have one or 2 friends that are willing to DM and have had interest from one other guy already. So it's not doing to bad so far. Also the reason I want other people to DM some games is because I won't be able to host more than one game a week.&nbsp; But of course the more the merrier. The more DM we get the more people we can accept in. Hopefully I can turn this into a big community one day. Also guys if you have never been a DM and would like to try I can give you some help and advice on what you need in a game.

Just throwing in my support as we need more euro games. I wouldn't mind DM'ing once I have a little bit of experience playing in Pathfinder.

I'm in the UK and have DMed AD&amp;D and 3.5 in the past. I would be open to running a Pathfinder game but have only just gotten the first few rulebooks, and on top of that I've never used roll20 before so I'd need a fair bit of prep. If I could sit in or spectate someone elses game to get a feel for proceedings that would be much appreciated.

Huzzah European time zone friendly games! I'm in Canada but I can only play during the day, which happens to be the evening in Europe. This means I might actually be able to get into some games. To bad I have to wait 2-3 week before you start taking players :(

Good news already half way to setting up the game might be able to start recruiting player in the next 5-10days

Well I have not found any games to replace the one that just ended so that's good to hear. Do you have rough idea when these sessions will be held. My&nbsp;schedule is a bit limited, (free&nbsp;Tuesday&nbsp;or Thursday, the latest I can play till is 10pm GMT (5:00pm EST). Hopefully that will work, though I don't have much hope :(

Niall R. the sessions are one shots and your character will progress through playing these one shots but the time and days of the games will be up to the DM's. personaley i cant host at the time your askign because of work but one of the other DMs might be able to.

So are these one shots completely separate with no relation or are they they at all loosely connected? I ask because yuo included a story in your first post.

There all going to be in the same setting all the character are based on one location which is in a school so you will see the same places in several games like the cafeteria or a classroom but of course you will also be visiting forests and other places so those will be different. there is also going to be a bit of a VR system in the school for combat practice and other things.

Id like to join PEG as a PC once its up and running, I am quite new to Pathfinder and would love to get more experience. I am available from 1st April onwards :)&nbsp;

From the PAG I wish you guys all the luck in the world. Until you get up and running I will be running an In Search of the Unknown expedition into "Quasqueton" on Monday 04/01/2013 (this Monday) at 12:00 Noon CDT which I believe is GMT - 5, so you European players should have no trouble with the hours. BUMP Also I'll (hopefully) be hosting games on a Sundays 10am GMT. As of right now the final rules for character creation and such aren't yet completed since we still need to crease out some of the more overpowered aspects of the new Mana system that magic users will be using but it shouldn't be to long before we're happy that everything is sufficiently balanced (Approximately a week from now)&nbsp;

Yeah I'm not gonna lie all the games we play are really enjoyable, and I'd really reccommend it to anyone that'd be willing to join , even if your not from Europe but your willing to join and get their on time It's definantly worth it! :D

Well I am new to this so I do not work as a DM but if you are willing to take a new player then I will sign up. I guess I need to buy that set then.
