Hey Roll20, Hopefully I can make this short and sweet, I'm looking to start up one or two One on One adventures in the next few weeks. Each story will be crafted specifically for the player. You bring me your ideas and I'll do my very best to turn them into a D&D adventure. This game is unlike most you may have come across. Instead of me sitting down and writing out a random adventure that I think players will like, you bring me your character inspirations and I craft an adventure around that. The scheduling for these games is much easier than scheduling for campaigns. We will figure out what times best fit each others schedule (weekly/biweekly/monthly, whatever works). Sessions will generally last for 1-2 hour and the number sessions we play depends entirely on how the story goes. A quick note... an adventure idea doesn't need to be entirely fleshed out. We will build it out almost entirely through conversation. That's the fun! For reference here are some hooks from previous players that became games... An eccentric rock gnome visits his exiled Uncle's new workshop in the surface world... The player wanted to explore a game as a tinker gnome solving problems with 'inventive' solutions. He knew the Uncle had been exiled for some kind of invention, but left that up to me. The game had a very comedic vibe, incorporating a lot of tinkering and engineering mishaps into story. The main conflict involved his Uncle going missing after one of his seismic inventions attracts a herd of buelettes. A mute elf is freed from enslavement... This game was incredibly NPC lite. In the entire game the player did not once speak. Instead the game was played through describing the actions of the player. This is not to say the game did not have roleplay... at one point the player befriended a very helpful enchanted shrub that would be a mainstay for the rest of the adventure. Other popular characters included a odd looking tree, a sleeping hill giant, and a singing crystal cave. This was one of the most interesting and challenging games of D&D I've ever run I'm rogue impersonating a noblewoman to investigate leads of treasure and power... This game had 0 adventure input from the player... rather they simple told me who their character was and I designed the adventure around what that. This was the longest running game I've done in this format and involved juggling a plethora of politically connected characters. Like any good game of D&D, there is no way I can fully tell these stories in a few sentences... feel free to ask me about them when we talk though! I love retelling D&D stories. If you have any questions or are interested in playing a One on One adventure feel free to message me here on Roll20, or via my Discord @ Finn#7016. I love meeting people in this hobby and look forward to hearing your ideas! Thank you, Finn
