Starting is 6th level, point buy 27, extra ASI at first or a feat. Multiclassing and Feats are fine. WoTC material. All UA is legal. 3pp is DM fiat. To the deleted post, yes you do indeed start with a magic item, it isn't that you are wrong. You are quite right. All starting characters get (2) magic items of uncommon or lower rarity from any WoTC source or 3PP as per DM fiat. You should have a plot reason u are in Waterdeep
