General Discussions and Shenanigans Thread #05!

The 11/21/2020 game session has been called off today as only Bahrren and Klona were able to make it in! There should be 6 active players right now: Bahrren, Buddy, Hermit8, Klona, Pheonix and Roxxifarius. Though, with the low attendance today, I might let in at least one more player since Hermit8 has been busy.
TenFootPole.Org has finally posted a review of the adventure module we play tested on here called, "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf"! Here is the review:&nbsp; <a href="https://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/?p=7001#comments" rel="nofollow">https://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/?p=7001#comments</a> If you were a part of the playtest I recommend posting on there what you thought of the adventure! I did think the artwork could be better, heck, would be cool if it was like "Tales of the Warlock: Revenge of the Gobcocker"! And the layout and editing could be improved. There is a sequel to that coming out called "Clan of the Black Wolf". I don't think he had this one play-tested.
Here is another review that I didn't know about even though I had searched youtube for one, that Christopher Moneymaker, the creator, linked me to: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWwnK3X0yes" rel="nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWwnK3X0yes</a>
Bohemian Rhapsody in the original Klingon <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=097vxabqBIE" rel="nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=097vxabqBIE</a>
The sequel to the module we play-tested earlier this year, "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf", is getting finished about this time in January 2021, now that he finished his final piece of artwork, and the author is looking to see who wants to play-test, "Ravenloft: Clan of the Black Wolf". So, Please, let me know if you all are interested in play-testing the new adventure module for the author, at Dark House Rules Games!&nbsp; I think I will compile all of the weekly summaries from that play-test and send it to those who want to read it once I have your regular e-maill addresses.

Have a Happy Christmas Eve folks! Dinner tonight will be Italian hot sausage sandwiches, (with my homemade Ghost Pepper Sauce), Linguini with oil, butter &amp; garlic clam sauce and home baked biscotti, nut cups, Linzer and chocolate chip cookies and pizzelle and cheesecake &amp; pumpkin pie!&nbsp; Anyone ever have that the full 7 fishes dinner? I haven't! Once in a while we make Zeppoli as well, my Dad and Step-Granddad use to like putting anchovies in them!
Oh, I forgot to mention I mix light eggnog with Fairlife chocolate milk as a beverage for when I eat the desserts!
Sounds like a great meal Ricky&nbsp; Have to say about the module sequel I'm not thrilled about that, thought the artwork was cheap and the module was pretty much a railroad, may be fun to read it just to find out why the stuff happens, I like the overall idea of the module but the way it happens did not impress me at all

Ok, I do wish the artwork was like it is in, "Tales of the Warlock: Revenge of the Gobcocker", of which I got in the mail today! Actually, it does give some leeway so that the party being chased by the werewolves has a chance to get away.&nbsp; Though, however it ended, it still leads into "Clan of the black wolf". After Bryce over at the TenFootPole Blog, reviewed the module, the author thought it was me and let me have it due to the nastiness of the review! Ha, Ha, Ha!&nbsp; The Author of the Ice Kingdoms setting also got hissy after Bryce reviewed that setting! Ha!&nbsp; Granted his reviews are hyper-critical to the point of comedy, though he is only trying to help&nbsp;people make their adventures better!&nbsp;&nbsp; On another note, yesterday, my copy of "Terrain Essentials" arrived from the UK! It shows you how to go about making terrain for your war/adventure games, railroad layouts or dioramas!
Artwork example from Clan of the Black Wolf:
And here is artwork examples from 13th warlock, whom made the Gobcocker module:
So far we only heard from Roxxifarius regarding playtesting, "Ravenloft: Clan of the Black Wolf"! It would be nice to hear from the rest of you!&nbsp; If anything we will see if the author implemented any suggestions to improve the module from the 1st one, "Prey of the Black Wolf"!
Does anyone want some computer memory? I am upgrading soon to 64 GB with the max memory speed my computer can utilize which is 2,933 mHz. I don't know if it's just one 16 Gb bank or two 8 Gb banks of memory, but I will guess the later and I think it's speed is somewhere around 2,100 mHz. I will open my case up to have a look later.
I can only add 4 gigs to max mine out and its already at 2400mHz with 12 gigs so unless its spread out over 4 gig sticks I cant use it
Dice made out of Moose Poop! <a href="https://www.artisandice.com/order/moose-poop-dice" rel="nofollow">https://www.artisandice.com/order/moose-poop-dice</a>
Check out this pre-order for a couple of Ultraman figures, it's $45 which is cheaper than I expected but then the figures are only 4.1 and 5.1 inches tall! <a href="https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2546545001001" rel="nofollow">https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2546545001001</a>
The Moose dice are just too costly, if they were cheaper I would buy a set just to say I have them hehe
I am looking at Zhora's sheet right now to see what of the Barbarian's Abilities are listed under Special Abillities (Racial / Class) and I see that some of the information is not there so I will add it in so you are not confused, Chris.
I now have, the 4K/blu-ray set of, "The Beastmaster"! It is a really nice set with a booklet included! <a href="https://vinegarsyndrome.com/products/beastmaster" rel="nofollow">https://vinegarsyndrome.com/products/beastmaster</a>
Ok, With Willie Belson the Hunter Ranger dead now, he has the Talon +1 long sword, a Long Bow &amp; quiver of arrows, and a short sword. So, let me know if you want any of those weapons and I will put it on your sheet!
Lo Shan Has no interest in any of it cant use it anyways&nbsp;
Ok, the 01/16/2021 Game summary has been posted! I will post the chat archive later. It is 77 pages long edited down from over 333 pages!
haha lots of chatter in the game
That plus the avatar pictures, make it longer, as does the more graphical way the new turn order I use is. One gripe with that new turn order is that it does not always pick up the token / character name and replaces it with 'The next' or 'The previous'.&nbsp; So I have to go in and change it based on the picture, before taking them out with the Replace function in MS Word. If the picture represents more than one goblin for example I can't show in the summary which specific goblin it was, unless I had mentioned it again after it displays.
It keeps you busy hehe
Avery and Buddy please get you new characters made!
I am going to open the game up for a new player as Avery has been quiet since joining, he is likely a troll!
Hello, are we not allowed to pick up characters that no one is using anymore?
Avery, yes we still pick up characters. I just need players to have characters made and ready to go when a current one dies!
They are releasing the music from AC/DC Singer Bon Scott's first band, Fraternity! It is a 3-CD set called "Season of Change" and was a total of $41.86&nbsp; to ship it with tracking: Article: <a href="https://loudwire.com/bon-scott-lost-songs-released/" rel="nofollow">https://loudwire.com/bon-scott-lost-songs-released/</a> The Set itself: <a href="https://www.cherryred.co.uk/product/fraternity-seasons-of-change-the-complete-recordings-1970-1974-3cd/" rel="nofollow">https://www.cherryred.co.uk/product/fraternity-seasons-of-change-the-complete-recordings-1970-1974-3cd/</a>
Yay \m/
Ok, I posted the 23rd's Game summary up. I need to get the story chapters from the week before and this past weekend's posted as well.
Thanks for posting these summaries, I'm sure it keeps you busy and just wanted to let you know its appreciated
Ok, everyone's spell macros should be working now! Yes, it's 3:05 am eastern time and I am still up, because I was trying to get it done! Rolo's needed all of the information added in, everyone else just had some tweaks here and there. Also, everyone's weapons To Hit sub-menu should be working and have all possible ranged and melee attacks listed. See you all at game time!
I think I will just turn off the Dynamic Lighting for next session, since everyone was experiencing glitches, hang-ups and crashes. It's a nice feature but apparently Roll20 has a long way to go to improve this improved version. My machine currently has 16 Gb of RAM memory and I still noticed a slow down and it crashed once on me. I am expecting new memory modules to max it out at 64 Gb, but it is taking a while to get them. I had to send what I got back as it was the wrong type. That said I will have, I believe two 8 GB modules if anyone wants them.
If they are DDR4 Desktop RAM Modules if not, or if they are laptop modules what kind are they? I might have a laptop that could use them&nbsp; I got booted three times from Roll20 rarely gives me any program.
They are from an alienware R7 desktop I would think they are DDR4's. And yea, all the glitching had to be from the dynamic lighting set-up today. All of you, that had problems should go into the bug report forum and mention how it glitched for you. While they obviously improved it's functionally they never really improved it's performance! Maybe if Roll20 moved away from using a web browser format to their own thing, it might help.&nbsp;
Ok, since we last played Roll20 has made another update to the Dynamic Lighting. I had already switched back to the regular fog of war. I can go back to dynamic lighting, so that we can see how it goes.&nbsp; If anyone experiences a sluggish slowdown or keeps getting booted again, we will just go back to the regular fog of war.

Ok, folks, so far only Roqar, posted the loot she has taken from the adventuring and I still need to hear from everyone else.&nbsp; I would like to get this done before Saturday's game! There is a greatsword which is magical but properties unknown, perhaps Marcuria should have that. The magical mace Lightbringer, should maybe go to Juan whom is already using a mace. There is the +1 Talon Longsword that someone could take as well. Marcuria has the Dragonguard +1 Breastplate. There are three (100 gp valued) large pearls, great for casting the Identify spell which also needs an owl feather, a live carp and wine. Other Items with magical properties: A wooden staff of Bird calls A magical cloak A chest with a magically held lock Hat of wizardry Packet of fine dust A cloak of many fashions Sending stones Clockwork amulet 1 vial of healing potion 2 sealed vials (I think from Klarg) Augury spell scroll Vial of spicy smelling liquid Unopened bone scroll tube&nbsp; Spellbook:&nbsp; Blur, Charm Person, Comprehend Language, Hold person, Mage Armor, Sleep and Spider Climb. A rod that magically stays in place 3 unidentified Vials of liquid

Marcuria isn't going to be getting any use out of the greatsword. If she did take it, it'd just be to hold onto to sell once back in town. I guess she might take the healing potion, the cloak of many fashions and the sending stones and the clockwork amulet. Unless I am reading this wrong in which case nvm
Ok, Marcuria, can take the healing potion, cloak of many fashions, sending stones and clockwork amulet. (She had them since leaving Phandalin for Wave Echo Cave then.)
Dia will happily take the hat of wizardry and the clockwork amulet. For the spellbook, can Dia and Rolo both copy down all of those spells? What rules are we using for rest time required to copy a new spell? I think the immovable rod could be a lot of fun in the hands of whoever is the most acrobatic (Roqar?). Imagine the salmon ladder from American Ninja Warrior.
Hey Sirus, can Elizabeth take the Clockwork amulet? Of course you could just share as well. Yes, you can copy down the spells from the spell books you find so long as they are your level or less. In AD&amp;D there is a Write spell that lets you copy higher level spells, making a saving throw to see if you transcribed it properly or take damage and be knocked unconscious. Roxxifarius, is Roqar up for the immovable rod?:
Sure Be happy to have the immoveable Rod go to Roxx
Okay, sure, Dia can have the clockwork amulet.
New Pre-Order for, "The Eurocrypt of Christopher Lee" ($105.00)! <a href="https://severin-films.com/shop/eurocrypt-christopher-lee" rel="nofollow">https://severin-films.com/shop/eurocrypt-christopher-lee</a>
Roqar is not going to be very thrilled if we dont get some loot and leave after "Only" rescuing the remaining Dwarven Brothers Yes Yes, its a good deed hey hey thats great and wonderful but it wont get you much after it wears off and is forgotten about
Well, I am pretty sure the dwarf brother will be glad to compensate the group for their heroism in saving him. Also there is that lockbox that i'm sure has something amazing inside. And Marcy also did snag a few rusted up weapons that might possibly sell for a little something.
