General Discussions and Shenanigans Thread #05!

Roqar um "Knows people" in Neverwinter that can probably get that strongbox opened, someone else can take care of selling those weapons and hopefully the Dwarves will be generous
OOC Roqar joined the Thieves Guild in Neverwinter last time we went there, it made things easier IC She "Knows people" that can probably get it open along with help find people that will probably buy stuff we have, but, it would be a discounted price, so better to have someone like Avery sell the other stuff for better prices. I think we may encounter the Drow in our run around to save Nundro dont recall seeing him with the spiders
I know how we can start the next session. One ERP session later... :P
Yes, good starting point :D
Actually, there would probably be one thing to takeaway from if this was an actual scene that was on-screen, but since it very likely won't be, the take-away is that Marcy will continue to be receptive to Roqar's continued flirtations and ogling, but that one day soon(as in, after the campaign is done), be prepared for it to get serious.
Roqar is fine with that leaves it open to flirt with the others except Rolo sorry, its that High Elf Drow thing just wont happen, have faith he wont stab me in the back if hes behind me okay but thats about as far as it goes
Yeah somehow I don't think Marcy is gonna have a problem with that.
Will invite the others over for a nice hot bath also and go from there
np lol . i wouldnt flirt with anything but POWER. just to put everyone at ease i wont stab anyone in the back. i will if im attacked by anyone who attacks me evil laugh....to be continued.

Ricky, when's the weekly gaming summary for last week coming up? I still need to know what the current XP total is...
Right now it looks like I will get the 03/06/2021 session posted late tomorrow. I am actually typing up my Sunday game summary right now, (almost half way done), because I wasn't thinking and the story chapter was at the top of the previous opened documents list. I list the Current XP totals for both games at the bottom of their Weekly Summaries, every week! You all are likely Level 5 now, if not, the next combat encounter should get you there for certain!
Well, I want to know before saturday's session, because if I am right now, we all would likely like to punch in the level 5 character additions before the next combat encounter. Alright, we'll see how it goes though.
Ok, Somehow I managed to type up two gaming summaries in one day. I did not have a Monday session as only one player could make it. So, at least that was a bit of a break. Everyone is now at level 5 so, after I post this I will go in and level you all up so you can all use the charactermancer. Level 6 is reached at 14,000 XP.
Hey DM back in v3.5 D&D there was a Skill under the Perform(Weapon Drill) where if you had ranks in it you could basically do things like what Conan does when he draws his sword the flashy spins and then in v3.5 again once you had 5 ranks in Perform(Weapon Drill) you could make an Intimidate Check vs an intelligent creature(s) to see if they back off possibly fighting you because of your impressive skills with your weapons This would go great with my plan to take the feat Dual Wield next time I get a feat What you think? Comments from other Players are also always welcome
Hey, I am fine with it Roxxi. Also you can just flip a coin on which weapon to pick up. I don't care, if you go with either the long bow or long sword. I could use something like a morale check against that intimidation. If it's high you would roll at a disadvantage, if their morale is low your intimidation has advantage. I have used morale rarely, as a roll, in both my AD&D and 5E games. Simply basing it on common sense and monster intelligence and things like blood lust, rage, or wanting to preserve oneself. Now, I want to get the two TSR Conan books to see how they had that set-up. I do have the Modiphius Conan rule-book in PDF and have a 20% off coupon for it's hardback. Oh, and I have that, "Tower of the Elephant" board game coming, that ties into that. I think I have something in 3.5E I can look at about this, yea the Player's Handbook 1.
I think in 5e the way to work it is once I get "Expertise" in Performance then I could try for being Intimidating BTW DM Did you know that on the Char sheet in the "Settings" tab that Gear/ Cog on the right if you go to the skills you can set a skill for normal or expertise?
I know about it now Roxxi, and went in to have a look and I see the skill section in the settings now. By they way, we will go back to the, "Dragon of Icespire Peak" module next session. Unless, you all wish to confront the green dragon, in Thundertree or just wait. The giant boar and his gang taking over Falcon's Hunters' Lodge is in the Icespire module. The Havenfell manor is also on the way up to the Lodge.
Decisions Decisions :P I think we wait on the Green Dragon and go take on the giant boar put an end to these Anchorite Orcs so that Falcon can have his lodge back and I can swing by now and then that Havenfell Manor as I recall we found out something may be in the woods near it like bones graves not looking forward to being so dam cold again
