Dynamic Light with Cards

I am running a couple of 5e campaigns that use different decks of cards, critical hit, inspiration, etc. When a player draws a card it is partially or fully obscured by the fog of war. I have the new dynamic lighting system. How can I make it so the card is fully displayed while the fog of war is on?

I've almost entirely avoided using cards, but I believe they function as tokens once they're on the canvas. Giving all players permission on the card & ticking "has sight" should do it. If that works, a short API script could automate that for you. This also sounds like a bug. Does it still happen with LDL?
Yes. It happens with LDL. I will give your suggestion a try during my game today. Thanks!

It's always been that way. You can select it and hit Z to pop it up to view, or shift-Z to pop it up for all.
