Good evening all: I'm playing around an idea for a combat encounter set in the modern (or pseudo-modern) world. Funhouse hall of mirrors: basically a big square room with posts on the corner of every squares' corner that hold up 'trick mirrors' and glass panels (occasionally bulletproof, indestructible, etc). Because of how the Updated Dynamic Lighting feature works: you can set up 'walls' that characters cannot pass through, so you could very easily set up the walls to not be passed through by characters. However, they'd also block line-of-sight of enemies, which might defeat the purpose. Can anyone think of any clever ideas as to how to make enemies visible beyond these walls to players so that the effect still works, or would it just rely on the players moving their characters one square at a time and me telling them whether they can actually go that way or not. If it can be done: it'd be a super fun encounter. If not, it might just end up being tedious.
