The party made their way into the keep through mostly unconventual means, with one magic caster destroying two ballistas with ACID WALLS and another convincing the drug-addled inhabitants to lift the gate. The party was horrified to find the Green Lotus gang were turning into GREEN SLIMES thanks to two vials of GREEN LOTUS GAS thrown by the bastard son of the Castellan, PESTILENCE, a half-orc gang leader who had taken over the Black & Green Lotus operations. Unbeknownst to the GREEN LOTUS smokers was that the GREEN LOTUS was INFECTED with GREEN SLIME causing those who took part in the opiate to be infected by SLIMY DOOM and become SLIMEHEADS, like the cousin of PESTILENCE, "SLUDGE" who through the smoking of the GREEN LOTUS was able to become large, and jump with a bouncing quality, and using tentacle like slime appendages to wrap up FREYA who attempted to disintegrate SLUDGE only to find her spell absorbed by the being. RAGNA & GORHAM approached, both finding quickly that the SLIMEHEADS were all but immune to their weapons. Fortunately, ANNIKA arrived and blasted a couple of SLIMEHEADS out of existence with ICE RAYS and froze PESTILENCE himself, who was later smashed to bits by FREYA, having escaped the slimy tendril of SLUDGE. The head-priest of LATHANDER of the NEW DAWN, RICTORG rewarded the party for defeating H.O.G., the Half-Orc guild and payed for their room & board for the evening at the local in. With the hope of new furs, the party should be off to the Land of the White Apes to remove the WILD MAN threat.
