Is there a way to tell which asset packs are downloadable, before buying them? Some of the ones I've bought have a download button and some don't. But I couldn't tell which was which before I bought them.
If you scroll to the bottom of the listing information, a purple banner will say 'for use in Roll20 only, cannot be downloaded' if it cannot be downloaded. Add-ons and Token Markers cannot be downloaded.
Generally only map tiles and tokens are downloadable as they are simple graphic files. Most addons, modules, and similar assets have additional coding such as dynamic lighting, handouts, journals, along with probably specific licensing limitations that prohibit them being downloaded. As Tiffany mentions, usually it says towards the bottom of it's page about it being downloadable or not.
