Page Size?

I have a map in Irfanview that shows it's "3900 x 2800 x 24bpp". So I think, "Oh! I can set my page to 3900 x 2800 and it should fit (and align) perfectly!". It didn't. When I dragged the map onto the page the map was much smaller. I could expand the image to the page size but it was still a little off. Where did I go wrong?

Sounds like you just need to right click the image, select Advanced -> Set Dimensions and set the image to be 3900 x 2800 pixels, then you can snap it to the upper left corner and it should be right.

Because it forced me to do it again and I realized that it may have been "user error" as the map did snap in to fill. But when I try to fit the grid I take a big step back; take a look here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M6I5ymh_nAAyl5GjTjNqIYqQ7U9jefka/view

So, your Roll20 page dimensions are made of too many squares. This may be a case where the image editing software is emitting more pixels per square than Roll20's 70 pixels per square. If the map image's grid aligns perfectly on the squares, you can just count the number of squares in width and height, enter those numbers into the Roll20 page dimensions, and drag the map image to cover the adjusted Roll20 page. Everything will then line up. My first guess is that the image is 100 ppi, and that the map is 39x28 squares. As an added bonus, you can set the Roll20 grid to transparent to see only the map's grid while still benefiting from the Roll20 grid's functionality. If for some reason that doesn't work or the squares around the edge are not "whole squares" (i.e. only parts of squares are along the border), this video will help you line up nearly any map to the Roll20 grid. https://youtu.be/Kip8clx2e-w

Remember if you take a centre-to-centre tile measurement across a whole map, it will be 1 tile short of the (correct) outside-to-outside measurement. That's got me a few times, as the R20 ruler defaults to centres. May or may not be relevant in this case.

There is a typo on the (new) page dialog. The left-hand setting should say Sq. for Squares, not px. for pixels. Each SQUARE is multiplied (x 70 px). It's SQUARES times pixels, not pixels times pixels. I've reported it, they didn't fix it, it's weird.
