Hello! My name is Nick S. I am 36, and work as a freelance artist in indie games and animation. I have been playing 5e for 6+ years with 6 years of experience on roll20. I love the character design process, and that extends to D&D. The collaborative and improv nature of roleplaying is something fun, especially when you can design fun characters to lose yourself in in these fantasy worlds. I always try to make my characters useful for combat, but don't focus on min/maxing for damage, and instead put my focus on making fun and believable characters. Some previous ideas included a litigious druid who used the laws of society against society itself to acquire large swathes of law-protected land for nature reserves, a tribal barbarian who wielded both the elements and the spirits of their ancestors (Sorc/Barbarian multiclass), as well as a master of linguistics eager to acquire texts and lore from ancient civilizations to preserve in a great library for future generations.
