Question about Icewind Dale

Hey there, dumb question, but if i already had a game going with a different module (yawning portal) would i be able to bring the monsters over from icewind dale using the compendium?  I know that I can do that with the tomb of horrors, but i feel like this would be different cause its under the compendium settings, share compendium, compendium selection , where as tomb of horrors is not under that setting. 

Compendium additions to modules are relatively recent. I know there is intent to convert older modules, but there is considerable backlog. My guess is that IW -> ToH is possible, but not the other way around yet. Also, Compendium Sharing only affects players. The creator of a game always has access to whatever Compendium sources they have enabled for that game.
