[LFG] lost my very 1st group after 12 sessions (6hours). Passionate to join Eberron as i only just finished my 1st character fully fleshed out and very proud of it and the time spent

(sorry about the title still very new to even roll 20 and 1st post here). In truth i doubt anyone would want me as what is still a new player and how i must seem terrible for being thrown out suddenly, though it was just 1 guy forcing his views on the others and he had been with the group longer than me. I'm really upset by it as it was sudden for me and shocked me since i always talked to to DM about how to improve myself, following everything he said. I put so much energy in that i even calculated the journey my character woudlve taken from Aundair to Sharn (9 days 21 hours) using various modes of travel. After every session i would read up about my class and spells, making notes both in session when i wasnt involved in the scene and outside so that i wouldnt slow anyone down in combat because i fully understood my abilities. Several times the DM said how much he loved my backstory i put in a lot of effort for and loved my unique ideas when playing. He especially loved how i captured my characters positive traits but also his flaws to fairly balance and reflect him. Yet with no specific reason why, he kicked me, so im left to assume that the 1 guy who really didnt like me (even after i had spent the entire session specifically complimenting him, being understanding to him and even apologised to something my character did when they first met). In the end the guy in the last session, didnt discuss a plan to follow a dangerous thought-dead suspect, threw away the element of surprise, called him by his real name (he was disguised as a woman), assaulted and grappled (failed) the woman in public and after i miraculously survived a guiding bolt, cheek being bitten off and being banished as my character stared at him for help (20mins of silence in which he said he was thinking); he simply went into his Shifter form and ran leaving me for dead (would've if i didnt have an ace up my sleeve). Oh and the party all blamed me for splitting the party even tho the DM sent me a vague sending message to go somewhere now and told me to bring 1 when the other 2 in the party were already busy, the DM didnt defend me. tl;dr I am a passionate British 22yr old who has only played Eberron setting and would love to actually use my character i only recently finished making to explore a world i spent all my time learning and enjoyed fully doing so. I understand most won't ever see this or care, tho if someone amazingly does thank you for that at least. I hope i can continue playing this game that i've only just started as it was the only highlight in my week. <3

Man, that sucks. Good luck finding something!
(will only do 1 bump since i know its unlikely anyone is running Eberron or even would want me)
Hi mate, text me on Discord at OriginalUsername#4148, would love to talk more :)
Eliot, take heart. Many players find themselves out of a game without warning on this platform. There are way more players than dungeon masters and many DMs are not experienced to handle social issues when players who don't know one another get together, each asserting their own focus. Some players do like to steal the show and it is unfortunate if the DM does not reel that in. I've been on the other side; I've had players mysteriously disappear with no word. Perhaps they were not looking for the type of game I was running? Ultimately, the game is about a group of players (including the DM) getting together having fun telling a story. When you apply for a game, sell yourself as a player, not your character (unless the DM asks for it). What do you enjoy most? Is combat your focus? Role play? Exploration? You'll find a game. Have you used the Join a Game function in Roll20? You can even add a keyword Eberron to filter for games for that setting. You can also check the Welcoming new players and Free to play check boxes. I just did that and got some results you might want to check out;

I also have been looking for an Eberron game to play in. Only ever ran a game in Eberron but I fell in love with the setting. I can relate.

It's always hard to lose your group, I'm sorry to hear it. I don't have a game that fits your needs but best wishes to you.
